Too many great bands from my generation to have a favorite really. Here's a few I love: Steely Dan, The Who, Beatles, Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna, Grateful Dead, Canned Heat, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Humble Pie, Small Faces, etc, etc... I'm old school, but then again, I'm old :)

The KLF (disbanded), The Shamen (disbanded), Sunscreem (apparently working but at a snail's pace), Hybrid

I used to love The Crystal Method until they released Legion Of Boom and the utterly bad Divided By Night. Oh well, still can play Tweekend and pretend the later albums never happened.

By a long shot, for me is U2

I've seen them over 30 times.

Met lots of great people because of gatherings and visited the actual landmark where the actual tree is.

Muse/Avenged Sevenfold/My Chemical Romance/Escape The Fate/Hollywood Undead.

That's my 'Top 5,' but there are many others that I adore.

This man has good taste, minus Muse and Hollywood Undead. :D

I got into Escape the Fate years ago, and they are pretty ****ing good. I've just recently rediscovered them. They were superior with Ronnie but they are still good.

You like Falling in Reverse now too?

I'm not telling any certain band, just the kinds of music.
1.- Thrash Metal (Beyond the embrace, Anthrax, Megadeth, ...)
2.- Nu-Metal (Machine Head, Mnemic, ...) (Thrash/Progresive Metal)
3.- Death Metal (Kataklysm, ...)
4.- Heavy Metal (Children of Bodom, ...)Listen to some of their songs, and start from there.

Good list. I'd add Sepultura(old), Pantera, Iron Maiden, Metallica(old), Dio, Motörhead, Alice in Chains, and tons of other thrash and death metal bands.

Nu-Metal's not a real genre and Machine Head are Thrash/Metalcore.
Agreed Rob Flynn is very mush a thrash legend!

The person above seems to have similar taste to me. Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows was my first gig, shame they split I guess? =/

I've also saw Escape The Fate too. xD.

Architects (who I've met and saw live twice)
Asking Alexandria (saw once)
The Blackout (saw twice)
Rise to Remain (I've met Austin and saw them live twice).
Bullet for my valentine
Avenged Sevenfold.

Hmmmm... tough call. I'd like to see Architects and AA live in the same gig but that will never happen.

I'd say my fav band is probably Architects as I've spent about half a grand on Architects stuff xD.

I'm not Abyssgh0st, but Escape the Fate is one of my favorites currently.

If I had to narrow it down to one it would probably be My Chemical Romance.

I could listen to Dying is Your Latest Fashion or There's No Sympathy for the Dead all day long.

I was a huge fan of MCR in high school, overlistened to them. I Brought You Bullets and Three Cheers is excellent though.

I loved Divided By Night tho! Black Rainbows, Double Down Under, Drown in the now, all great songs. :)

I think it's a good development because Craig Owens (lead singer) can go back to singing for Chiodos.
I Brought You Bullets and Three Cheers is excellent though.
Yeah. Three Cheers is probably my favorite, then I Brought You My Bullets and The Black Parade are probably tied. I'm not a big fan of the new album (or the EP), but I still like it. It's definitely something different.
