On all my leopard "Macintosh HD"
On my server "Server HD"

and Bootcamp "Windows HD"

and all my other hard drive I name it according to its size. eg. "HD 500", "HD 640", "HD 1000"
 
I just leave it standard. Macintosh HD. I call my bootcamp partition Windows. If it is an external drive I will call it whatever the brand name/model name is.
 
If I can give it one, I name it Carmela.

My G3 tower is Aldina, after a childhood friend from the Azore Islands, my surviving G4 tower is Fern, the G4 733 DA that has gone into a coma is (was, :() Ivy, and right now I am thinking about a name for the new Mac Pro that is due to arrive next week - I am thinking about naming it for an old friend and constant Mac Guru advisor (who died over the Winter).
