I Don't do anything really fancy with names for my Stuff!

iPod Touch: Ryan Taylor's iPod
iPod Nano: Flash Drive (Because I only use it for storage)

I really wish I were more clever to come up with better names.
Macbook Core Duo (2006): Oldy (because I'm getting a MBP soon, just letting the old girl know I plan to neglect her)

While their actual names are pretty genaric, what I actually call them varies greatly depending on what kind of mood I'm in and if they are functioning properly or not. This applies to my car and truck as well. 
My two externals are called Agamemnon and Ozymandias. At work our two video cameras are Burnie and Orson. We just bought a third one - I'm excited to see what they name it.
A friend at work used to name his external drives after bits of sports chatter he had heard that day on the radio in his cube. So he had drives with names like DubiousCall and GimpySlide... The guy next to him did all names from the Godfather movies, like Corleone, Appolonia, Clemenza.
My drives at work were boring, just names like Work2, BetaSetup. I still don't put fancy names on my firewire or USB drives, just on iPods.
One of my pods is named RedCabbage... a blue 2G nano with a red skin on it so it looks reddish-purple, like a real red cabbage does.

Haha this is great! I've decided to start calling my gear after the Titans from Greek mythology, starting with my internal drive which I'm gonna name Helios.
Edit:Actually, I'm still at a loss for what to name my gear, so never mind the first section...

I haven't really named anything but my iPod. It's name is "The Intersect" like from the TV show, Chuck. I'm also thinking of renaming my external to "Pineapple" which is inspired by the TV show, Psych. =)

Mine is Winston.
At first he was just called My iPhone! in iTunes, but I changed it once his name came to me. I always name my cell phones, just the first thing that pops into my head.
