It’s one of my favorite bands!
The band is certainly interesting. Any of those colors by themselves, excluding the black and brown strands, I really don’t like as a single colored band but tied together, the colors work. Not sure how much use I will get out of the Pride Edition band, but it will be a nice change from time-to-time.

I am thinking about the Titanium one because of the antimagnetic feature plus the sport loop I never checked the SS against magnets

I really like the feel of the braided loop. It is very comfortable. The downside is it stretches out. I normally wear a 6 in s Solo loop. My braided loop from last year is a size 4. I just tried it on and it is loose on my wrist. I wouldn't trust it to give me accurate readings. I won't be getting the braided loop again, especially at $100 dollars.
I don't own the braided solo loop band personally, but I've heard others who have been able to shrink their band by either washing or wetting the watch and tossing it into the dryer. Your mileage may vary, but I thought I'd pass the info along if you haven't tried it already.

I have hand washed it a few times but, did not put in the dryer. I may give that a try. Thanks.

White Nike sport loop.

I already have my nice bands so took this opportunity to get an extra band for workouts.

Being on the fence (still!) about getting a combo with a woven solo loop, do you think it would be a good idea to go in the store this weekend to try them on and maybe place an order while there? Would they accommodate me only for this, now that all is happening with scheduled appointments in the Apple stores? I am so torn but I need to try the solos on in order to decide, and quick!

If you can get an in-store appointment, that may be your best option as you will be able to see them in person. Not sure if you can try them on, but an Apple rep might be able to size it for you.

I bought green aluminium. My first watch. With midnight and starlight sports band. Was gonna get starlight case but changed my mind last min before ordering. I also bought a 13 pro in silver 512gb. That’s my apple spending done for this year :)

Didnt get sports loop. I think it will be big on my wrist and I have small wrists. I can’t wait for next Saturday store pick up

I was so tempted with the silver ss but couldn’t justify the spend in this one year after spending so much with apple products this year lol

Ordered the default sport loop with my SBTi so I could get it launch day.

Pretty sure I’m going to pick up a Sequoia Green Leather Link to wear with it for my initial combination.

I’ve been collecting bands for over 6 years now, so I swap combos pretty often.

Some watch-band combinations showed "unavailable", thus couldn't be added to the cart.

And why would blue aluminum + black sport loop only come in 41mm??

What a mess.

I just went to the Apple Watch Studio, and I don't see a "black sport loop" for either watch size. And the only "black" sport loop available for purchase separately in the Apple Store is the Nike one. Can you link which band you're referring to?

Just download the sizing guide.

I thought that I read that the sizing guide isn’t 100% perfect… I may be wrong. However, if @sfrangu is going to be in-store to view the band selection, what harm is there for an Apple rep to help him/her find the correct size based on material?

No harm in the Apple rep tying your shoelaces for you either. Shouldn’t really be necessary though.

No guide can be 100% perfect. Your wrist changes size throughout the day depending on temperature and activity. So if you’re trying on bands in an air conditioned store keep in mind if that really reflects your typical usage.

Also if you’re planning to use the watch to lose weight, perhaps lockdown weight, then don’t bother with fitted bands until you’ve achieved that.

Wow… way to be helpful. I don’t now what their reason is for buying the AW. When someone asks for advice, you really shouldn’t respond with sarcasm.

I believe is going to be a gorgeous combo (and I'm totally a blue person vs green). Please post pics in natural light if you have a spare minute...
I purchased the green Aluminum watch with midnight sport band. It’s my first apple watch and as I have a large wrist (tight 8” / 203mm) I was nervous about getting the green leather sport loop.

Took Starlight. But have additionally ordered this new black leather strap from Bullstrap for my SS S7.

Think this could be look really cool in combination.

Space Black Link Bracelet

Does anyone wish Apple has an option for no band, just the watch case body and charging cable in the box?

The band comes in a separate box anyway so the packaging wouldn't need to change.

I'm not bothered though since a new watch is a good time to also get a new band.

My problem is, I have collected ~15 bands since my first AW. The current offering is just boring and not my cup of tea. I certainly don't want another color of sport band/loop. Apple also discontinued the woven nylon band, which was one of my favorites.

I ordered Ti SB. And the Midnight Leather link. Since the apple care applies to the band too, and I always get apple care, I get whatever the more expensive band I might want. I already have the space Black metal link.

That said, the band I wear the most due to comfort and ease of use is the Solo Braided loop which I already have with my S6.
