Really don’t know whether to reply with  or :D!

I hear ya. I ordered the combo with the abyss blue braided loop (love the braided loop so comfortable) but I realize that I have the blue from last year which is extremely similar. The abyss is a bit more muted. So I then started looking at what my other options could be. I was planning on swapping band on launch day. I was told that was possible and hoping that’s accurate.
Not a fan of the sport loop. Curious what other colors people think look good with the blue watch.
Thanks!

You can swap the band when you pre-order & collect from store?

Didn’t know this.

I ordered a sport band, but like the look of the red braided loop with the Starlight case. A nice, punchy contrast.

However, I have just been put off of buying the braided solo loop as apparently they stretch over time, and become loose?

Mine stretched a little but not to where it interfered with watch working correctly. That said I don’t like it extremely tight.
Apple said as long as it’s in stock at store they can swap

Ok I keep playing with combos. How is this?

Just noticed that most people went with the sport band.

If you was one of those people, could you explain why?

I’m curious, that’s all.

I’m really glad that you and your daughter was able to find what works best for each of you. 😁 My order doesn’t arrive until 11/2-9, and I’m really looking forward to delivery. I have several bands for my 44mm, so I’ll be able to swap out occasionally. If you remember the sizing for the different band materials, Amazon has some really good replacement bands although I would be really selective and read the reviews if your decide that you want slightly cheaper options from Apple‘s offerings.
Thank you, @beach bum! My son was with us as well but said he’s not interested in bands or the new S7, he’s going to wait for the 8 LOL. So, it was only the two of us trying on bands and loops and stuff. I have a sport “Nike” wannabe from Amazon from a couple of years back and although I got one with very high, multiple reviews, it gave me a rash each time I put it on, so I can stick only with Apple’s products. They never gave me any problems.

I have a couple of braided solos that I've worn a ton, and they haven't stretched at all. Others have had different experiences. I suspect that people with hands that are much larger than their wrist might have this issue because it has to stretch so much to get over the hand. My hand is tiny and the band doesn't have to stretch much to get over it.

I was playing around with the studio yesterday and I almost got the sports band with stainless steel (one of the options I was thinking of, since it’s what I have currently but series 4).

I love sports band with the notches vs any of the ones in a loop including sports because it fits… I just use the first couple of holes, but that’s fine. Over time, sh*t stretches. Even my swift double tour from Hermes stretches (wish I got xs vs s for my first had I known…)

but the sport material is easy to take care of too imho. Have white and lasted pretty well for three plus years.

The sport band is a good option if you already have a selection of bands and plan on maybe selling your watch next year when the new watches come out. If you don't care for the sport band yourself you can keep it in the box until reselling your watch.

I'm a bit surprised they canceled the old leather loop... i liked it better than the new one with the big "cushions".

but many stores still have some in stock, so i ordered one just in case.

I have that one in grey and it’s absolutely superb. I like it much better than the new bubble type leather loops

I wasn’t too bothered about the band as I’m not that taken with the current selection and prefer the ones I already have so I just went for a graphite 45mm with midnight sport band. Not sure I will use it as I prefer my leather loop and Nike bands

Thanks one more to clarify. Putting it on our off your wrist or changing the band. Thanks again
Both.

Many people on the forum who have bought the band have ended up with scratches on the watch. Some here were affected before they knew what the loop could do and others were affected even after trying to be very careful. If the band does scratch the watch body, it will be a lot more noticeable than a SS type model. Take it slow and deliberate when handling and you may be just fine.
