What measures will you take to protect yourself from iPhone X-inspired crimes?

  • Hire a bodyguard or become friends with one

  • Never take it out of pocket, ignore calls and texts from jealous wife and angry boss

  • Always leave it at home inside a plastic container in the fridge with the label "not iPhone X"

  • Only use in bed, under blankets, after midnight, after your deranged wife starts snoring

  • Upon UPS delivery, leave the box unopened until your next-door neighbor gets one too, circa 2020

  • Put it in a case mimicking Nokia 3310

  • Chain it to your ear, arm, neck, foot, or other body organ

  • Wear dirty smelly clothes pretending to be a bum who clearly does not, can not, and will not have X

  • Become an iPhone apostate, convert to Androism

  • Buy iPhone 8

Most will purchase their iPhones on as it is, but for those who do purchase theirs at a store, have very slim chances of having any issues with someone attempting to deprive them of their iPhone X.

I just hope on my next date she doesn't kick me to the curb because I bought the 8 Plus.

:(
Don't worry, your text bubbles will still be blue. You're good with the ladies.

Get a cute guard dog to follow me around.
Meet my dog

It's really hard chatting people up at the dog park since I got Scooter, though. ?????? I think he's a Min-Pin Pomeranian Cross

It’s the new baby :D I seldom watch my fav tv show or read on the phone when commuting . I just need to be mindful of my surroundings, the vertical camera could easily be spotted.

The other stuff I get, but how does your particular ethnicity make you less of a crime target?

Because, let’s be real, most people find black men more threatening and more prone to violence than other groups. Not saying it’s right. I’m actually one of the friendliest and most respectful people you could hope to meet, but people judge based on appearances and stereotypes. And as I said, most robbers will go for targets that look the most harmless and least likely to put up a fight.

There are a few thousand people in the Bay Area walking around with X's in their pocket right now, somehow they are staying safe from highway robbers

I'm gonna tape a Note 7 to my X, nobody will want to get within 100 feet!!!

It's no doubt that if you are lucky enough to get your hands on iPhone X this year, you will be a huge target on the streets of wild Wild West. The unlucky ones all around you will salivate with envy and desperation at the sight of your fairy-tale iPhone X. What measures will you take to protect yourself from iPhone X-inspired crimes?

Will buy a tank & you know the rest...

I watched the video from unbox therapy. In the whole video he kept listening to his alter ego without actually opening the box. Proper funny.
It was clever and I did laugh but I wanted to smack him with his hat and yell "Lewwwwwwwwww!" It will be interesting to see how he reacts to The Notch....dun dun dun. He already made a video showing us how to attach fake notches to our phones via an app. Crazy stuff.
