Im trying really hard to watch THE MENU
if i had a gong......
im getting tired of these "pretentious smug negative" movies that only
people who been in these :weird: situations can cope woth.
the dialog is lazy and weak and acting is bland.
16 minutes and:

GONG!

Currently watching this and had to stop and post because she’s powered by the A17 Bionic Fusion chip.

What’s the deal with Megan? I’m getting negative vibes, wouldn’t it be better to have your personal Android not look like a psycho? To be fair, I’d have to see and hear her talk. :)

I haven't seen the movie but it always seems in movies like this that the characters are so totally clueless that they can't see bad things coming. Once thing I learned from the movie 2001 is that we need to put kill switches on our robots. :)

Yeah, she was creepy and the way she moved when in kill mode was even creepier. She talked like you'd expect any AI to speak. Human-like yet somewhat Siri-ish. The movie was meh - worth a watch for some mindless entertainment but nothing I'd watch twice.

I, too, recently watched the movie Megan in the online theater and I must say that it was an enjoyable experience. The movie was visually stunning, with a captivating story and great performances from the actors. The cinematography and editing were also top-notch, creating a compelling and immersive experience. Overall, Megan is a great movie that any fan of the genre should watch.
hmmp.

Sounds like something "Megan" would say...

Ant Man and the Wasp (2018)- In the spectrum of marvel movies, this one has a great balance of story, action, and humor. But if unfamiliar, you have to watch the first Ant Man first.

I liked the first 2 Ant Man movies. I haven't seen the third one.

Grown up Cassie gets a thumbs up

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)- I’m sad to report that Marvel has Multiverse Fever. In this movie, I like the core characters and the actors who play them, but hated the setting of this story. Here’s why, Mutliverse Faver tends to come with psychedelic backgrounds. i could handle Dr Strange facing down Dormmamu, and fighting across a Kaleidoscope of city of high rises, in relatively brief sequences. Along the same lines, the quantum realm in Ant-Man was an interesting place to briefly visit, but not spend an entire story in similiar to the Multiverse of Madness which I also disliked. Consequently this franchise loses some of it’s Earth bound quaintness Imo. How do I make my final judgement, can I watch such a movie multiple times? The answer here is no. :(

That photo proves how fit you have to be to be in a Marvel movie.

I don't know why there is so much dislike for Ultron. Plus, he was hilarious.

"this is the part where I reveal my evil plan."
You know Tony Stark is responsible for the calamity called Ultron. :)

Marvel has created the largest cinematic ecosystem n history, and while it is true most of them are watchable, I’m only really enamored with a relatively small % of them, but can acknowledge the achievement.

Pretty decent. Nothing too heavy, some funny moments, touching moments.

It would have been a great Ghostbusters reboot with just a little retooling.

Above Suspicion (2021)- watched on Amazon Prime. The story of an FBI agent and his informant. It got terrible audience and critic reviews, it did not feel coherent, and it’s a somber look at small town Kentucky white low income society, not to imply that all Southern small town society is like this. One bright light is Emilia Clarke does a great job with her portrayal, Southern accent and her narration pulled me in at the start. The story telling just felt haphazard and disjointed.
