It’s been a few years since I’ve seen this movie, Alita Battle Angel.
I liked it, don’t know if part 2 will ever get made.

Part 2 is coming hopefully, no idea when though. It’s like Nick Frost Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright all want to make another project together, but they don’t know when as they’d need to align all their schedules.

Superb cyberpunk in all ways, other than the story was not completed. Normally this would be rectified with a sequel. This was an example of paced, high energy CGI action that your eyes and brain could keep a handle on. I can’t explain why it has a 61% RT rating. 🤔

Last night watch on Apple +.
I give it an 8/10 in IMDb.
Lotta plot holes, but at its heart it’s about love.
Sidebar: not sure why it’s R rated.
No nud-ity, f-i-n-g, swearing even.

Any clue why?

Chris Hemsworth is brilliant in this. Interesting film, good sorry, and let’s be honest, Mad Max films are ALL about the utterly awesome vehicles they create! Of which this film has plenty. Enjoyed it. Also never knew Chris’s wife was in it till I saw the credits! That make up is brilliant lol.

I’ve got the Blu-ray but I do love this campy sci-fi movie, Flash Gordon, so at %50 why not?

How do you compare it with the Blu-Ray? Wondering if it is worth the upgrade.

Setup a camelcamel price watch for when it drops to its lowest price ($16.99).

The fun aspect they have with this film lol. There has been an absolute flood of films like this recently, I know this isn't original itself in the slightest. But I do like the fun aspect they put in the film.

I watched this movie in theaters when it came out, and have never rewatched it. The perfect amount of time has elapsed that I managed to forget a lot of the big scenes.

What a masterpiece of a movie. What a cast. Of all the multilayered Nolan movies this one comes together the best IMHO. Such a build of tension to the crescendo.

Still available on Netflix, but says it is leaving soon.

With the new 28 Years Later moving coming out in June I rewatched 28 Days Later and have to say that movie holds up really well. Great from beginning to end, pacing is perfect, shot perfectly and set the tone for zombie movies for years after. Really looking forward to the new one, and if the trailer is any indication it will be a fantastic movie. The trailer itself deserves an Oscar.

I am going to give 28 Weeks later a watch before seeing the new one, but I don't think that one will hold up as well, especially considering it was not that great a movie to begin with.

The Substance

Incredible Film! If you're faint of heart maybe skip it. Otherwise its stunning and f-ed up in so many ways

This is on my list too, it looks messed up from the trailer and that poster picture! I did read what it was about and it sounds good lol. I mean Poor Things was messed up and I thought it was one of the most genius films I’ve seen.

The Punisher (1989)

Old school violence and retribution... So well worth the watch.
I’ve not seen this version, should check it out. My goto has been the 2004 version with Thomas Jane. If you’ve seen both, how do they compare?
89 version hands down...
Besides the series, for me it's Punisher:War Zone.

The Punisher in the Netflix Daredevil series was awesome, as was the two seasons of the Netflix Punisher series; AND Frank is coming back for Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+...!
