Blair Witch was excellent except it almost made me nauseous as it was more jerky than Cloverfield. 😛Same sentiments. The shaky cam only works in certain circumstances. Blair Witch VHS cut nailed that, rough as **** but intentionally well done.

No, I haven't seen it, but was looking to watch it and wanted to know why you didn't like it. Based on your response, I doubt I will go out of my way for it now.In EVERY way.

You can see it and come back and tell me I'm right or wrong. No, I haven't seen it, but was looking to watch it and wanted to know why you didn't like it. Based on your response, I doubt I will go out of my way for it now.
I really hate it when a movie has characters with no depth or agency, as you say, which is akin to what I say, no character development. Lazy writing is usually substituted for special effects, but I guess not even this time.
Appreciate the comments! I won't rush out to watch it, and may never watch it if it's that bad.
Disclosure Day was absolute garbage.
Disappointing

Total Recall. The Colin Farrell one.
It's utter rubbish compared to the Ah-nold version. It has vastly superior in FX, action and atmosphere, but that's it. The biggest issue is story. There is hardly any.😡 During the 2 hour movie, there's probably 15-20 minutes of dialogue. Stuntmen and CGI artist do the heavy lifting in this movie, the script writers and actors ride the coattails. There was only one scene that I found engaging, that was where Harry tries to persuade Quaid that he's still in Rekall. The only back to reality is to shoot Melina. The actor who played Harry, day-um, he was convincing.
The most unbelievable part of the story is that Quaid, a factory worker, could afford a huge apartment in a world where overpopulation is a problem. This is the New York waitress being able to afford a midrange apartment in Manhattan level unbelievable. (Friends or The Big Bang Theory).
Oh, I liked that in this version Quaid's wife isn't just ornamental. Lori (Kate Beckinsale) is a combo of Lori (Sharon Stone) and Richter (Micheal Ironside). She kicks (_!_).🤗
