I still mainly use my PC desktop but when I want to relax on the couch and watch football I like my ibook and often with I had a few key apps.

I miss all my photoshop plugins. I miss ThumbsPlus to view my photos (I hate iphoto with a passion) and Newsbin for binary downloads (nothing on mac even comes close IMO.. or even decent) and I too wish Agent were mac compatable.

Read 3 posts up. I was a big Newsbin user on the pc until I found Unison for OS X. It is much better than Newsbin.

Then I must have missed doing it as I don't bother to do so in OSX as I don't keep too many large files on my system.

you mean 120gb on a mac serve me much further than 120gb on a PC?

Never heard of Newsbin but Agent is simply terrific. I'm still using the last version 1, I think though. I'll have a look at this Unison but it's hard to see how it could be better than Agent. For sure it won't be hard for it to be better than that Thoth program which is barely usable.

Unison won a few apple design awards. It's really a beautiful app with really useful features like grouping par files, thumbnail image viewing and streaming audio files.

I miss Outlook. Entourage feels half-baked compared with Outlook 2003. Mail barely competes with Outlook Express. A friend of mine worked at Apple in Cupertino and she said that noone at Apple uses Mail

Someone should port Evolution. It's a great app, though a bit slow.

IMO Seashore is the closest alternative to MS Paint. Nice interface with an extra features not found in Paint.
Wow that looks interesting-- but do you know which links I would have to download? All of them or some? linky

Not having Visio bothered me for more than a year. Then I broke down and started using OmniGraffle since running Visio in VirtualPC was driving me crazy. It's not a 100% replacement since I have so many diagrams built in Visio, but now I do all my new work in OmniGraffle and am very happy. Still, if Microsoft ever ports Visio to Mac and its runs smoothly, I'll probably switch back just to have all my archives available natively.

That's about the only thing that I was tempted to put on VirtualPC. Everything else is either just as good as on a PC or far, far better.:D :D

OK! Got your point, ~Shard~. ;) That one I wouldn't say I miss it though..

Oh no, absolutely, me neither... There are a lot of things I had to deal with, work with, etc. on Windows that I don't miss whatsoever... :)

I really miss the blue screen of death. I used to make a game out of it, trying to guess whether it would be there waiting for me when I woke up, got home, etc. Sometimes after a hard day, I would come home and see my old friend BSOD waiting for me, and I knew that all was right in the world.

Yeah, I have the BSOD screensaver on my Linux machine. Best screensaver ever. Other people see it for the first time and they are scared for me, haha. :)
