Are you saying sorry makes dollar shave club blades? I have the executive...will any of the dorco replacements work with that handle?

Not a DSC user, but from understanding, yes, the Dorco's will work with DSC handles. If you side-by-side the sites, will see the razors are identical. Seem to recall seeing threads similar to this one on other sites where DSC users mentioned that they started to buy direct from Dorco with no issue.

ADD: on the other threads, people were buying a year's supply at a time, as that provided a good savings, hence the switch from DSC to Dorco. Have not price compared myself, so, take with a grain of salt.

Yeah I was actually reading how DSC came about and apparently a guy had a box of razors in a storage facility and he was making smile talk with the now owner that he needed to get rid of them and thus that is how DSC came about. So it is a possibility that could be where his razors are coming from...?

Yeah, do you use the power handle?

Yeah Harry's is affordable. Might actually switch back. 4 pack of blades is like $9 but the trimmer on the rear is terrible.
Their face wash & shaving gel are a bit over priced...

Harry's is also now available at Target and Walmart, which is nice if you aren't on a subscription and forget to place an order.

Personally, though, I've started keeping a little bit of stubble. I shave every ~5 days with a Wahl electric beard trimmer.

I've been using Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium Precision Razor and Headblade ATX for many years.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out!

I've used the Headblade ATX and liked it a lot, although I have let my hair grow back some and have it cut with no guard clippers now

Currently using Harry's
Took a bit to get used to the angle, but now it is a good enough shave for me
It came down to the fact it was just more convenient to have them delivered than to run out

I use both safety and cartridges
Safety I use Derby Premium blades
Cartridges I use Harry’s

For you guys that use Harry's how do you find the rear trimmer on the back of the blade for shaping?
I wasn't a fan.
Which shaving cream are you guys using?

I only use the back trimmer for evening up sideburns and right under nose it does seem to vary from cartridge to cartridge from Harry's. Its the only thing not consistent.

I use Aveeno therapeutic unscented shave cream for cartridge and safety both.

Picked up a Series 5 Braun to try. Should be about $70 my cost once it is all said & done. Hope I like it.

I am NOT a fan of safety razors. You have to shave really slowly to get a decent shave--and that's with hot lather, too. I use the Gillette Sensor Excel cartridge razor with a good shaving gel to get the best results.

I was using the Dollar Shave Club Executive (well, still do kinda) when I was shaving. After my handle broke I decided to let it grow and got enough compliments I just kept letting it grow. Now I use an electric trimmer for beard length and the DSC cartridges for trimming. I use their shave butter, and was real pleased with it when I was using it for full-face shaves.

Depends on the razor. Some are dull shaving regardless of what you do and some are aggressive. Weight of the handle also aids in shaving. When held right, it'll be at the correct angle and there will be enough weight to cut your facial hair without mishaps.

Making absolute recommendations is difficult. Each person's skin and facial hair is different, so too are their aesthetic and personal preferences.

That said, I'm a huge fan of the traditional double-edged safety razor. In my experience it offers the optimal balance between ease of use; economy; and effectiveness. Bought in quantity, a double-edged safety razor blade costs a few cents, is 100% recyclable, and provides (roughly) a weeks worth of superbly close and comfortable shaves.

The traditional safety razor shave does require a certain amount of preparation: hot water, soap, and lather to soften and lubricate the skin and whiskers. I prefer a combination of a badger-hair brush, shaving soap, and a liberal application of a pre-shave oil.

I'll not disparage any other man for his preferred method of shaving. If an electric, or cartridge, or straight razor works for you: God Bless You.

That's still too much of an issue for me. Hence the reason why I use the Gillette Sensor Excel (I formerly used the Schick Xtreme 3 disposable razor until the price got too high even for a four-pack).
