Had to buy the top, 128gb, try every-time to save some money but nope can't do it.

Bought a 128GB air had a 64GB mini that was full needed more space!

I went with an AT&T next plan and got a 128gb. I'm a big enough sucker to upgrade every year so it seems like a good deal

I think the 128gb models will sell out pretty fast, more people seem to be climbing the $100 upgrade ladder to the top. Each step up I say it's only another $100, then the jump from 64 to 128 for $100 is just too tempting to ignore:D

I went for the 16gb with LTE connectivity. My iPad 3 has 32gb and my music library took up most of the space. I NEVER listened to music on my iPad.

Can't wait to waltz in during my lunch break to pick it up!

128gb model so far is the most popular, I know most on the board are not average consumers but tech enthusiast, still it's interesting.

My opinion is you either get the 32gb or the 128gb. 16gb is too small to be useful. Regarding the 64gb you may as well pay the extra for an additional 64gb with the 128gb

128gb

Wait till this afternoon and I bet 128gb won't be the most popular. We are the enthusiast that wait up/wake-up early and then go to a board to discuss. Later today it will better reflect the general consumer.

FYI- I ordered 128gb AT&T (grandfathered unlimited,) leather case & applecare. My company receives a discount so I paid 55 dollars more than the 64gb factoring the stacked discounts. Applecare was 81 dollars, case was 7 dollars off. Going to sell my iPad 3.

Managed OK with 64 GB on my iPad 3, but apps are only going to get bigger as they move to 64-bit, so went 128 GB this time. The extra £80 for another 64 GB is quite good value. I just which the 16 GB bottom tier had been dropped.

My 32gb is no where near 32gb so although I thought about 128gb, I went for 64gb. Plus there is a mental barrier near $1k where I'd start to think I should skip the iPad and get a MBA.

I use my iPad as my primary device and it's only using 19GB. 128GB is just nuts.

16gb. I mainly use it to watch netflix and crunchy roll. If I go traveling i load a few movies on this thing and still have plenty of space left.

If I need something for serious work then I can do it on my MacBook Air. A majority of my work is cloud based anyway.

I keep all of my music on my iPhone, so I will probably go with the 16 or 32 GB iPad. I keep my family photos on a home server (PhotoStreamr), so they don't take up any space on my iPad. The only thing left is movies, and for those I generally add a few when preparing for a trip, and then delete them after I watch.
