Wait till this afternoon and I bet 128gb won't be the most popular. We are the enthusiast that wait up/wake-up early and then go to a board to discuss. Later today it will better reflect the general consumer.

FYI- I ordered 128gb AT&T (grandfathered unlimited,) leather case & applecare. My company receives a discount so I paid 55 dollars more than the 64gb factoring the stacked discounts. Applecare was 81 dollars, case was 7 dollars off. Going to sell my iPad 3.

128gb still leading, slim but leading, I figures 32gb would be top, so this is very interesting and probably a good sign for Apple:) Bet a 256 model would have sold pretty well too.

I was in line at Apple store and at first I had the 64GB LTE card but after 5 minutes I changed my mind and went all out. 128GB. :)

16 here. My first had 32 but when I sold it I hadn't used half so I've been at 16 since (3, 4, and now Air). All my music is on my phone, I don't play games, and I keep the photos on my Photo Stream tight.

I made a very-last-minute decision to go 32 instead of 16, mainly for resale value. But I mostly do surfing and streaming. I don't travel much so have no need to load my iPad up with songs or movies.

I'm very surprised by the poll results showing there are so many top of the line buyers. Seems awfully pricey for what you get.

Had to do 128. $100 for twice the storage just made sense to me. Plus with the amount of apps and photos and stuff, my 64 had only like 3GB free. Now I can have multiple movies for trips.

I got 64gb. Not sure ill use it all but I though seeing as I can't upgrade then I may as we'll get the biggest size I can.

I was expecting to get 64GB iPad Air(s), but changed last minute to 128GB. Also added AppleCare+ because I've gotten into the habit. Unfortunately, total 128GB iPad Air purchases exceeded my recent BTO 13" rMBP price!

128GB is really nearing laptop replacement capacity.

Almost went 128GB as I run a full 64GB iPad 4, but pulled back and got a 64GB. Keeps me south of the $1k barrier and prevents me from pack-ratting TV/movies.

As for those rationalizing larger and larger apps, seems to me many of my staple apps have gotten leaner. Think they've been able to remove code in favor of increasing number of system API's.

Well there you go, 32gb takes the lead, it really is the sweet spot, but from what this small sample tells me is...people going for the 64gb are already paying 700+ so you decided either right before buying, heck another $100 to double from 64gb to 128gb...oh man go ahead:D

Amazing how $100 has become a spur of the moment splurge for some, I guess if you think about it...a night out is over $100 with gas, a dinner and a movie, so one less night out, actually considering the entire purchase I best stay home a few more times:D

You might as well get a MacBook Pro with retina display, if your going to spend the money on a 128 gig lte iPad, but if you have the money, then power to you.

iOS isn't ready for the laptop market yet.

I was originally set on getting the 16 GB Wi-Fi Only... BUT I went ahead and splurged for a 32GB. I figure I can add my small music collection to it and still have space for Apps/Pics

I agree. iPads are really nice but at a certain price range, I'd rather just get a Mac. I sure hope the MacBook Air has a retina-like display before too long. I'll be all over it. I'd get a MB Pro but they're kinda heavy (but getting lighter).

16gb wifi for me. I stream my music from rdio, video from Netflix, Amazon instant et al, and keep my photos on g+.

I don't play many games at once so I've installed all my fave apps and still have over 7 gb available.

64 But i think i’m going to replace with a 128 because i believe this is really going to be the last iPad i get for a very, very long time.
I can’t really imagine what more I could want or need in an iPad. You get to a point of it being so fast and the screen being so crispy that small improvements just do not matter much any more. (I’m going from a Mini to the Air).
