I haven’t heard anything but as the 8, 8 Plus and X support BT 5, I would be very surprised if the new phones don’t.Has anyone heard whether the new phones will support Bluetooth 5? That would be a compelling reason to upgrade!!

Wow, the "AirPower", only coming out a million years after being announced...
The cost of the plan is separate and consistent no matter what phone you have.So a 1000 dollar handset, after 12 months you have paid 480 or 960 after the 24 months, where the data and calling costs? Or are they just forgotten about,?
I was tieing them in together, but hey ho... I'm in the UK at the moment, where all fees are just under one figure. And that total 2 yr cost had to be settled up before any upgrade can take place..The cost of the plan is separate and consistent no matter what phone you have.
all i want is a new iMac.......Sept 2018 and they still selling a 2017 iMac as their newest is mind blowing
sigh.....
I fully expect Big Tim to say "and just one more thing.."
Then unveils 18 core Mac Mini Threadripper!
Bigger displays seem to be the major draw this year, with Apple introducing both a 6.5-inch iPhone and larger-screened Apple Watch models that have smaller bezels.

2018 iPhone Lineup
Apple's 2018 iPhone lineup will consist of three devices: a 5.8-inch OLED device that's a follow up to the current iPhone X, a larger 6.5-inch OLED device that's a sort of "iPhone X Plus," and a 6.1-inch device with an LCD screen and a lower price tag that's meant to be Apple's more affordable smartphone.
...
Leaked information from Apple suggests the 5.8-inch iPhone will be referred to as the "iPhone Xs" while the larger 6.5-inch iPhone could be called the "iPhone Xs Max," with Apple doing away with the "Plus" moniker that it has used since the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
It's rather entertaining to look back on discussions about iPhone size in this thread from 2013...

Yeah, it works differently here in the U.S. Much cheaper across the pond from what I hear. My total bill is about $121 a month for unlimited everything, $80 for the plan and $41 for the phone. I can upgrade the phone every year at no extra cost and the monthly payment is the cost of the phone divided by 24.I was tieing them in together, but hey ho... I imported the edition in hahaHave all the models ever been available? It would be nice if we were given a choice, e.g. LTE, steel case, wider collection of bands. But Apple will definitely protect us from the temptation ofthe Hermès and the Edition!
Same here. I'm happy with my 6S plus and Note8 but i'm again switching from Android to iPhone. Mainly thanks to Google being such a data giant that spy on everything i do. I might be fooling myself but i think Apple is a bit better in that area.I should have taken the day off but need the money after the event. Ha.
I plan to pick up the 6.5 iPhone and the Series 4 watch.
So you aint gonna use any Google services at all,? Good luck with that...Same here. I'm happy with my 6S plus and Note8 but i'm again switching from Android to iPhone. ... is Apple not going to offer a 4.7 inch version of the iPhone anymore?
If not, I may have already bought my last iPhone.
Yawn. This event is shaping up to the biggest and most incredible event ever with unbelievable new products. These new iPhones will be the best Apple has ever made. And the same applies to the new Apple Watch.
I think everyone will be upgrading their devices this year.
Yawn.
cmon man you’re sounding like a parody account nowThe world will stop today to watch this event.
I do my best, but YouTube is very hard to avoid…You're under the impression that it's not possible to avoid direct use of Google services? It very much is.
The current iPhone X is about the size of the iPhone 6, 7, & 8.As someone who is not a fan of the bigger and bigger phones, is Apple not going to offer a 4.7 inch version of the iPhone anymore?

It’s because we’ve reached the milestone of the same event for the year after - that is pretty strange. Yes, Apple did state 2018 but if they intended to release it in fall 2018 I think they’d have announced it in this upcoming keynote, not the 2017 one.Can You explain how The Airpower ‘lapped’ itself? The Airpower was announced in September 2017 during the fall Keynote, when Phil Schiller stated directly “To look for it in 2018”. So how is that exactly lapping itself, when its still 2018?
‘Lapping itself’ would be if the Airpower did not launch on time if it was given a specific date, which it never had in the first place. Two different things.
