Its about time for a "Were fixing the stuff we should have got right to begin with release." Sadly this needs to happen every couple of years now.
It needs to happen every year. QC of software has gone downhill. Lots of little things (like keyboard shortcuts in Mail non-functional, Apple Watch remote controlling Macs, etc.) are glitchy. You could chalk it up to varying levels of internet connectivity for some but many seem like software bugs. You can’t tell me Apple execs don’t notice this stuff.

iOS 15 I’m going to call a widget calculator for the iPad. The issue of an iPad calculator is that an app doesn‘t look refined or something, so making it a widget it will stay the same size as the iphone calculator.

[*]Have an Apple Books subscription service. Make Apple Books like a library, where you pay a fee and you can rent and borrow any book from the store. Apple seems to neglect Apple Books, and with all the talk about Ipads, we need to remember that one of the first things the Ipad was used for was a reading device. I need to do more reading, but then I always say that and never actually follow through.
[/LIST]

That is a neat idea and I’d probably get it.
I’ve been reading a lot more since I started writing seriously, so this would be great.

And what if there won't be any new hardware announcements at all @ wwdc '21?

Will you all be sad? I mean like a sad panda? Or even more sad?

bring on the Pro ARM macs!!!!!!
Exactly. The pro macs are going to get a step up above the airs finally, with more ports, display size, more high performance cpu cores, more gpu cores and more wattage/thickness to power all these. Those fans on the pro shall have a reason to hit high rpms again.

And double the cost.

Nail clippers. :D

That’s what Apple need to launch.

Sick of seeing Xiaomi bringing out loads of really rather good products and not even having the choice of an Apple version.

[Xiaomi nail clippers really are good – nice and sharp. Come as a set in a neat little box.]

some people just like to see the world burn

The name of this website is MacRumors. It, and all of the other Apple/Mac outlets exist because of how secretive Apple is about future plans and products. It would be fairly easy for any of these sites to rate any and all of the Apple prognosticators based upon what they have and haven’t gotten right. But none of them do. Rumors are frequently the only source of Intel on what Apple intends to do, and even the worst sources are sometimes correct. Apple, the people and companies providing the leaks and guesses and all of the outlets like MacRumors benefit from this marketing strategy. I don’t think it’s going to change and complaining that a source isn’t accurate is kind of farcical. Apple wants disinformation mixed in with actual leaks. Quit using one source, and someone new will pop up with an accurate leak. And someone trusted will be wrong.

I'd like to see a new Mac mini, I'm keeping my hopes low for that. I'd also like to see a new MBP, my hopes for that are even lower. I need a computer with at least 32GB and I thought of going PC out of plain old impatience, I can't come to grips with MS Windows. Here I sit.

We really don't know a lot this year.
It sets the bar low, so I'm sure to be delighted.

The only deception I could have is if they don't talk about a new Apple Silicon chip. But no matter what happens, I know I won't have my M1X iMac until fall, I just have a chance of seeing a glimpse of its power.

I would like to see Apple add the option for extra security with the mail and Notes apps (eg. PIN code or FaceID needed to open said app).
I would like to protect an entire folder in Notes. Because I started using it A LOT for my job, and when I do a search while screen sharing, I don't necessarily want it to find my personal life info :-]

Normally I upgrade to the beta version to test it out, but just like when iOS 13, was released, I plan to wait until iOS 15 is released to feel like I have a new phone, since I’m not upgrading this year. My 12 Pro Max has been nothing but the best for me, and I love the Pacific Blue color and don’t want to part with it for another year.

Delivery dates for 16-inch and 13-inch BTO are still June 21-23.

Definitely not looking promising for a MacBook Pro launch on Monday.
So They Will Be Announced On Monday And Then Start Shipping From Next Month Just Like iMac 24 And iPad Pro M1

That’s all good but the real question is what devices will be thrown under the bus?

Both the iMac and iPad Pro shipping times slipped before announcement. Apple doesn’t ship last gen machines several weeks after the new ones are announced.

If you're the kind of person that reads this article and then complains after the event that there were no surprises, I don't know how to help you.
