I was surprised by this too. As recently as a week or two ago the Series 2 of the AirPod Pros seemed likely in April.

While I have yet to read anything of journalistic relevance on Forbes when it comes to Apple, I would also have expected AirPods around this time too.

I did promise myself a new IPP this year. (Currently using 2018, which is fine). I was tempted by the M1 Air instead, tho I don’t think it’s for me at this time. I’m back and forth with trading in my 2018 IPP ahead of Tuesday’s announcements. Just don’t want to be without for too long. 🤔 Decisions, decisions.

Those redesigned iMacs would be amazing if true. I prefer the flat design instead of the curved design from yesteryear. The thought that the screen could be like a giant iPad is truly awesome. I am a little worried though because it looks like they didn't have vesa mount in mind. a full imac wall mounted that is only 2mm thick holy hell that would be awesome. it would be like a picture on the wall only a whole computer inside. if they keep the same power cord design though poking out the back my dream of a 2mm flush mounted picture computer is over.

2mm? That’s 0.078% of an inch. I think you mean centimeters, which is 3/4 of an inch.

Why would you want them to happen?

Apple just announced the Find My network for third parties last week. This is what they've been working on. On the same day they announced these: https://chipolo.net/en-us

They are literally what you want. And the important part is the support for the Find My network.

To think Apple is going to then release their own little plastic tag is pretty ridiculous.

Those don’t support UWB. Anyway, will know in a few days

Agree. My 6gen ipad need to bee updated, and there just a little chance for new low cost ipads, then I'm going for the mini, but only if it has 4GB+

I agree with most others that it doesn’t make sense for the base model iPad to be updated next week as it was already updated in September alongside the launch of the new iPad Air. I do wonder if they’ll stretch the Air‘s upgrade cycle to align with the Pro so that the Air doesn’t jump to the A15 six months before the Pro gets updated with the A15X.

I may hold off with upgrading my XR to the iPhone 13 Pro if the iPhone 14 Pro will have a 48MP sensor, even if the sensor is the same size the image quality will be better.

iPad Air Mini or iPad Pro Mini FFS Apple. As with the iMac, buying the exact same design over and over, year over year for nigh on a decade got old years ago. Worse yet for the iPad Mini, you're paying a non-trivial premium for an antiquated design.

I don’t think he minds - he’s having fun playing that character.

Plus, his credibility will sky-rocket if these airtags are unveiled and look like the renders he leaked last year.
He’s the only leaker that has predicted their final retail appearance, based on images from his source somewhere in the Apple world.

Many on here have criticised him as just guessing. Even the accurate release details of the iPhone SE and the headphones. But this airtags business would definitely confirm he has a genuine source and put him in the more regarded group of Kang, Lovetodream and Ming-Chi.

iPad Pro 2018 11” user and I’m not seeing the need for an upgrade yet. This is possibly the longest I’ve used the same model since my first iPad 10 years ago.

The only possible driver might be 5G support but without mini-LED in the 11” it’s kind of meh.
