Maybe it was Steve Jobs who pushed the refresh cycles. And Maybe Tim Cook wants to slow them down (for some strange reason).
Because the ex COO and now CEO isn't as focused on making money as Steve was...right.

I think we will see updates in the coming weeks unless Apple has a major feature, such as Retina, that they want to announce at WWDC.
Imac 2012. = in May, silent refresh, ivy cpu, better gpu, maybe faster RAM- hope its mass ready cheap ram , maybe thinner and antiglare glass
What would be awesome is a backlit wireless keyboard
See this article from last May

That would be pretty cool, but what kind of detrimental effect would it have on battery life? I can see it now, the wireless keyboard requires 4 'D' batteries![]()
My ideal iMac 27
Ivy Bridge Core i7 3+ Ghz
16GB of RAM
No DVD drive.
64GB SSD Boot/Application drive
1TB HDD drive.
Bluetooth 4.0 Magic Trackpad and Keyboard with backlighting.
802.11ac Wifi
Better speaker system
Last year Apple held a media event for the thunderbolt iMac. It wasn't much of an upgrade for the iMac yet they had the event.
My ideal iMac has access to the hard drive, a component with basically a 100% fail rate.
+1
Ludicrous design. Like designing a car with no access to the engine.

I've actually used this analogy with other people, so I am glad I am not the only one who clearly sees the parallel. It's really rather insulting actually. I mean, I get what they are trying to do (the appliance computer!) but it really just doesn't work. Not until ALL parts have an extremely strong reliability factor (whatever that may arbitrarily be).
I really wish I was actually a Windows fan sometimes.
Can't do it though. So I am stuck.
My ideal Mac-
27"
I7 (best one)
(whatever the best GPU they offer) I'm hoping it comes 2gb ddr5 standard with 3gb option
16gb memory (upgrade myself if apple dosent match 3rd party prices)
1-2tb HDD with 256gb SSD
LIGHTED KEYBOARD!!!
This is the setup I'm ACTUALLY getting (assuming the le lighted keyboard actually does happen!) oh gosh I hope it does....
