Well I actually have no scientific or real world evidence. It's just a guestimation based on the weight and feel of the case nice had many cases in the past and I just have a good idea by holding them which ones will protect the phone in the event of a drop more than others. This case certainly protects better from drops than having no case at all. Just stating the fact so people know there are better options if drop protection was their main priority =)

Ah, okay. Thanks for clarifying and thanks for the review! :)

Wait, so the Zagg invisible shields are on sale TODAY at Best Buy's?

I am leaving for vacation tomorrow afternoon and not sure if my Wrapsol is coming yet. Crazily, I might pick up a Zagg solely for extra protection on my trip.

I don't care for the Luxe Lean. I think it looks really cheap and it covers up the back of the phone. Not a lot of protection on the top, either.

Just my opinion of course. I really like the Reveal.
That is why there are so many case makers and cases. I do not like the fact that the rear is covered on the Lux, (but it is great protection against scratches) and i really do not like the cheap plastic backing on the Reveal or the rubber covering the volume buttons. And, IMO, the Lux is better constructed than the Reveal. And I have never covered the front of my IPhone. Enjoy your Reveal.

But, enjoy your new phone even more!:apple:

Yes they are. They were all locked up in a drawer yesterday.

I ended up getting an invisible shield front and back yesterday at bestbuy. They didn't have them on display but the girl in the mobile section went to the back and took me one out.

I was going to keep it naked, but eh I feel better with some protection on it. Want to keep it as close to the natural size as possible though.

So the Zagg screens aren't dangerous or anything right? They're decent?

I just want it temporarily but some reviews I read seem to be by dumbbass people who can't put a screen on but blame the screen. I've done wet installs about 7 times already.

dangerous? don't think the zagg will put you in any sort of danger.

Zaggs are dead on. I can't install them myself so I simply pay Best Buy to do it. I just sold a 3GS with a Zagg on it.

I bought my Zag two days ago at Best Buy but it was the last one they had. I haven't put it on my phone since I discovered my old Vaja pouch fits the phone. If I do put the Zag on and decide I don't like it - how do I take it off?

It peels right off I believe. Easy on easy off as well. Well, not really easy on.

Whatever you guys buy, don't buy a bumper! It makes it nearly impossible to use aftermarket headphones and switching the vibrate / ringer switch is nearly impossible too. Terrible design!

Just the same, I think the Luxe Lean plastic looks like arse. Really cheap and cheesy. Sorry. :(

I was forced to reserve an iPhone 4 at Best Buy if I want it on June 24 (which I do). I'd like some sort of protection from the first day. Does anybody know what Best Buy will have available? I wouldn't mind a black or white (I'm undecided) Bumper if Best Buy has them on the first day. I plan on getting a Vaja case, but that will take at least a month for me to receive, so I might as well buy something from the first day the iPhone 4 is released.

Thanks! Great vid. Are you using any kind of screen protector for the front swell?

So I just went to Best Buy looking for temporary protection for my investment. I ask a phone guy where are the iPhone 4 cases...and he's like "We don't have cases for the 4G, the 4G isn't out yet." He kept calling it the 4G -- which thoroughly annoyed me. Then he tried to tell me the 3GS cases should fit, so I pull out my phone and he couldn't believe I had one. I told him it launched today and he was shocked. Gotta love the Best Buy experience.

Actually got the invisible shield installed on it. Gonna wait 24 hours to throwback a case in it. I'll let you know how it feels with the bumper on it.

I still have the protective film on the back and just bought the griffin case as well, do you think it would be alright to use the case without any protection for the back?? I don't want scratches to find any down the road after using this case

I used it for a day without any protection at all on the phone. The Reveal is a solid case, I would use it everyday if I didnt have an invisible shield on it. Once my shield sits for 24 hours, I'll test out the Reveal, Bumper, and a CandyShell by Speck if i can find one today.

The cases even say 4G on them! I did find a selection of cases at BB SoCal - because they didn't have enough iphones to sell, so they had some accessories.
