What week was your iPhone 3G made?

I need guidence, if 8 is the year and teh next 2 is the week how you determined when it was made having a number like 28 or 18, someone tell me how that works?

I am not to sure if i understand your question. but i think it would show up us 828 or 818.

Mine's a week 27.

There is this site which decodes Apple serial numbers:

http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html

It doesn't have iPhone 3G model info yet, but can decode info on manufacture date, and other info (like what production number your phone was for that week). Mine was the 22,698th iPhone produced on Week 27.

Its the week of the year. For example, 828 would the the 28th week of 2008, 626 would be the 26th week of 2006 (although this isn't possible on the 3G of course🙂)
