week 27.. i wonder how many phones they can make in those chinese factories :)

They must have those 12 and 13 year olds really working hard in those factories! :eek:

We did. 3 phones. Our week 28's did not. Hence I think starting at week 29 - they have the 47 firmware already in.
 
btw I believe week 29 corresponds to last week. We are currently in week 30. So my phone was made the week before launch week.
 
Mine's a week 27.

There is this site which decodes Apple serial numbers:

It doesn't have iPhone 3G model info yet, but can decode info on manufacture date, and other info (like what production number your phone was for that week). Mine was the 22,698th iPhone produced on Week 27.

Production year: 2008
Production week: 28 (July)
Production number: 17995 (within this week)
