Are we sure these are weeks of the calendar year and not weeks of Apple's fiscal year? Their Fiscal Year starts in October, which would put week 24 (earliest date we've seen) at the week of March 9

I wondered this myself... Anybody know?

I really just seems odd to me that people would get iPhones made the same week they bought them. I mean, especially here in the US. All things aside, China is a little bit of a distance, ya know...

Because it doesn't seem to work with Windows?

From my understanding pressing that button combination brings up iPhoto on macs...and since there's no iPhoto on Windows...it does absolutely nothing.

edit: nevermind...finally got it to work...picture shows up in the Camera Roll.

Yeah the screen shot functionality has nothing to do with what OS you are using although the pictures are .png instead of .jpg which most people are used to seeing. Looks like everyone is following my lead with much better screenshots now!

I got a original iPhone made in July of '08!:D:D:D

They are still making them?!

What's the purpose of this thread? Are we trying to identify certain problems with the week it was made? or what? how did this thread get so long

I think that they most likely would be based off of Apple's fiscal year since every facet of a business is based on their fiscal year.

week 30.

Week 30.
Just got it today cause my week 28 had a light leak around the bezel.

What's the purpose of your post? There was a thread like this for the first gen iPhones. It's just a way of seeing when the iPhones were made, and in this case, when they were around it's launch, but since the initial launch is history, it's still good information.

...830..... for me as well, so 30th week.

This was a replacement (last Saturday) for my 1st 3G iPhone on which the volume-down key was stuck.

Do you have a link to the first gen iphone week made forum?

Thanks

Oh, man... that makes me one of the "old folks" now?? LOL ;)
