Maybe, just maybe Apple will have learned how to enable it to make a reliable, clear, phone call that doesn't drop.

But THEN who would they point the finger at?

They would require lessons on how NOT to act like a victim.

It's odd how iPhone users in other countries don't seem to have nearly the same amount of problems at&t customers do.

Funny, I guess Apple just accidentally shipped all their defective phones to the US and sent all the good ones to other countries. Oops!

Based on what Eric Schmidt has mentioned recently, I would think it's NFC.

Would Apple try and connect payment systems to iTunes accounts? Is there potential in Apple being a creditor, or at the very least some kind of mobile Paypal? Interesting questions, maybe..

I am happy as is, but would not mind faster or better notifications with less battery drain. not sure i see a need to have any more memory, love the ip4 design. but it would be cool to have a full touch screen and loose the home button... just saying.

Bigger screen, louder speaker(s) Better camera that can shoot 1080p along with the software to make it look really clean. The ip4 camera is very good as is, so it will be exciting to see if they could do this. HDMI out would be awesome too, but I highly doubt that would come. Better notification system would also be awesome for iOS5.

3D. Now hear me out on this. Apple has always been pushing its iOS devices as gaming devices and also media consumption. As we have seen with the nintendo ds you can have a 3D screen without glasses. I think apple will use this tech, but refine it a little more so you do not have to look directly at the center of the screen to make it work.

1080P recording and better pictures (Bigger sensor, NOT more MP's!) and more storage. (32 and 64 GB) is my hope. With iOS 5.0, i'm hoping for better notification system and ability to make folders for our pictures. (Even though i have a JB app that does that now)

I do not see why apple would add this. What would be the use of it beyond using your phone to pay for things?

Hmmm

Well it's just a guess of course and I'm usually wrong anyways ;)

But I think that over time NFC cell phones could replace our wallets / credit cards and Apple loves to say how they are the 1st at bringing changes to the market. ("first major tablet" "first retina display" "first major NFC device")

Also while it might be scary for some if Apple somehow linked your ability to pay (via NFC chip in the iPhone) to your iTunes account and could become a sort of Visa / Mastercard type of big time credit agency?

Just ideas though. Feel free to let me know the errors of my ways :)

Hotspot feature

Hotspot feature like a MIFI (Mobile WIFI) that can connect upto 5 other mobile devices to use as an internet modem/router.

Faster internet- 3g to 4G more nearer to WIFI speed.

Improved battery- we need to have about at least 1 week+ battery power with intense use of safari/phone etc....as 1 day use is a bit of a pain charging everyday.

Whats the maximum speed on the iphone 7.2Mpbs?

You shouldn't count iOS5 IMO, 4 is going to get iOS5 too most likely.

I don't know what could the killer feature be, I mean it's going to be more powerful, 64GB, dual core, better camera ... but that's expected and evolutionary, the screen will stay the same, other than that, NFC maybe? But NFC is definitely not a killer feature to me.

iPhone 4 has pretty much everything, great screen, BT, GPS, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Accelerometer, etc... iPhone 5 will be more powerful but I doubt it'll have any new features on the hardware side.

If the rumor is true

Then 1080p video recording with the 10MP camera.

Phew that would be beatifull.

I'm not so sure about the camera. Is it really that big of a deal? I think most would agree the 5MP is most likely the best of any current smart phone.

What would 1080P video do? Most people watch their video on the phone anyway, 1080P on a 3.5" screen? I don't see that as a "Must have".

I think for most people:

1.) Bigger screen would create a huge adoption rate

2.) Faster processor with better gaming performance allowing newer, "Next Gen" gaming that is only possible on the new iPhone.
