Snow leopard:That's why I said "if it's an optimization cycle". Leopard cut off computers but Snow Leopard included all the ones from the previous year. Same with Yosemite and El Capitan and I believe with all other optimization cycles.

Windows still uses version numbers. The latest release of Windows 10 is version 2004 (build 10.0.19041.329).i’m surprised they still use numbers for all of their operating systems. I’m surprised they don’t just call it literally the new iOS or do like Microsoft andcall it macOS (fall 2020 update)
