Really, I just want to see it die.. MacOS, MAC OS, Mac OS X, OS X - I have a feeling it won't be the same once ARM comes out which is a victory over Intel. Just waiting to upgrade my 2015 Macbook Pro to an ARM macbook pro.

Um...why do you want it to die? Couldn't you, you know, just stop using it and let other people use what they want?

The most obvious name to me while reading the article was Avalon. After reading some of the comments here, others agree. This is because of the tic-toc cycle they are on. This seems like a year for them to work on stability and behind the scenes improvements. Making another Catalina name likely. I'm pretty sure it'll be Avalon. Though, I guess it could be MacOS Two Harbors...

And how would bean counter Tim Cook parlay Catalina into something related to Catalina that would not be mocked by the media? Don't put your bet on anything related to Catalina. At LEAST Leopard was a big hit with Snow Leopard being even better on Intel chips. There wouldn't have been any negative press at all about Snow Leopard if not for disgruntled PowePC PowerMac G5 owners that Steve Jobs promised would eat Pentiums for breakfast until they were discontinued and abandoned. :D
