This is a legitimate question and I had the same one. I find nothing wrong with this thread. Why are you all so mad?

So you don't see anything inappropriate about asking that kind of questions under the circumstances? You can't see why someone would be offended by reading that another is concerned about the production and delivery of a luxury toy, when the delay stems from a disaster from which there are thousands of people who are suffering? Oh well, the way you make your bed is how you will lie in it - understand it or not.

Obvious flame-bait is obvious, btw.

I do see it can be inappropriate but I also think it is a good question. I know that it is a topic that it is sensitive to people. I'm sorry but it can apply to other things as well. I'm sorry it was made into such a big deal, but I was just a little curious.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that the quake in japan has anything to do with the delays.

So we have people dying and losing their beloved friends and families and all you care about is how the earthquake in japan would delay your iPad 2 order?

Let me get this straight.

You are only expressing the share of your concern on your iPad (not on those 100000s of people dying and losing homes) because of the earthquake.

I hope your iPad 2 gets dropped by fedex on the way to delivery and apple will delay it even more.

I am sure that will impact your delivery more than this earthquake.

Orly?

Top of Fedex status page now reads: "IMPORTANT! The 9.0-magnitude earthquake that struck eastern Japan on Friday, March 11 has affected FedEx service."

Last year it was the volcano eruption. Now this. Apple is bad luck I'm thinking.
