Oh wow, a must have update. My life will be so much richer for more emojis and wallpapers...

This truly is innovation at it's cutting edge.

3..2..1.. back in the room. These hypnotism sessions really work. The world's a better place for a phone that has stagnated for the past three years and all you need to do is add emojis and wallpaper. Yay, way to go Tim.

It would, but you and everyone else knows it will not happen. V sad for this. I did turn the sound off but it was an Apple thing. My iMac 24in did it this morning, I'm sure I'd turned sound to zero...

Emoji are an international standard... Somehow the Unicode consortium wound up doing what Esperanto never managed.

This leaves me in a weird spot-- I want to hate the frivolity of modern society, but I like when Apple adheres to standards.

I wonder what happens when someone with the new emojis sends one of those suckers to a friend on iOS 9?
Will they see a □ ?

I hope they get something amazing but unexciting to the general public to package alongside the emoji. Emoji get people to update. Use that for good.
 
I could literally hear the emoji complaints and "courage" one liners before even clicking the comments section. I guess when Apple becomes lackluster, so do the MR readers lol.

The programmers hired to work on emojis must be feeling depressed. Of all the problems in the world that software can help solve, yours is emoji

Yes, the major engineering effort and skilled programmers that add emoji are depressed. This is a thing that happens :rolleyes:

So ignoring the fact the iphone 6 and iphone 6s were best sellers and a myriad of new functionality on both hardware and software has been added yearly, you think the iphones have stagnated because a few emojis and wallpapers have been added? Interesting. It may be your opinion but it doesn't jive with the differences between the iphone 6 and iphone 7.

C'mon Apple. You could be so much better than this. Right?
