can someone that installed this new beta post the new 3 wallpapers for us here in full resolution? thank you

Well here we go again, another version of IOS 10. Apple needs to fix the damn bugs in IOS 10 like the frozen screen issue reported by many when you launch the Contacts app or the Dialer app. Or how about fixing the Bluetooth auto sync many on these very forums have complained about.

I have seen the Bluetooth auto sync problem first hand. Prior to IOS 10 my BMW 530xi synced just fine via Bluetooth to my iPhone 6s. Now the contact names/numbers synced from my iPhone and displayed on the BMW screen only show the person's name and number but no longer show what type of number (e.g., work, home, fax, mobile, etc.). How convenient.

So now because Apple apparently broke Bluetooth auto sync, based on numerous complaints from other car owners driving different car models ... so this ain't just a BMW issue, I get to break the law by picking up my iPhone while I'm driving to select the particular number for the person I want to call.

Thank you Apple for breaking Bluetooth auto sync for so many of your customers.

Perhaps, but remember that Apple used this phrasing to suggest that they were somehow more ... enlightened? advanced? forward thinking? ... than the 'average Joe', and that by doing so they open themselves up to attack with the same standard. I'm certain that Apple is working on some really amazing things, but it is equally apparent that many / most of those amazing things are not making it to market. Is this truely an enlightened approach? If not, then they don't really have the courage to innovate and should be called out for it.
When children start making jokes, or acting in funny ways they enjoy that everyone is laughing with them and giving them indications of social acceptance. Usually very young children think they've cracked the secret formula, so they repeat that formula over and over.

"I went poopy!"
*everyone laughs*
"I went poopy!"
*everyone laughs*
"I went poopy!"
*everyone goes through the motions of laughing*
"I went poopy!"
*ok honey, play with your toys now*

Most kids grow up to learn that things are only funny the first few times, and that caustic or biting satire is also only effective the first few times. Some people never really make it through that stage of emotional development.

If you really believe in this "by the same standard" logic, then we should have heard this line of attack once, because that's how many times Schiller said it.

It's not clever; it's not insightful; it's not useful in any way anymore other than to pollute the environment.

More emojis.
When update after update of iOS touts the addition of emojis over fixing major issues, you know someone at Apple really got allocated to the wrong team.

I still miss Slide to Unlock.
The new notifications slide options and display is worse than in iOS 9.
It takes far more time to unlock my iPhone 6 even after enabling 'Rest Finger to Open', because when I am sure that my fingerprints are gonna have trouble registering and I want to use Slide to Unlock instead, I can;t do it quickly anymore. I have to tap or click the home button a couple of times first, and wait.

Not enough emoji. Please discontinue all work on desktop systems and give us more emoji. Thanks. /s

Oh wow, a must have update. My life will be so much richer for more emojis and wallpapers...

This truly is innovation at it's cutting edge.

3..2..1.. back in the room. These hypnotism sessions really work. The world's a better place for a phone that has stagnated for the past three years and all you need to do is add emojis and wallpaper. Yay, way to go Tim.

Can I just say....**** YOUR ****ING EMOJIS!

C'mon Apple. You could be so much better than this. Right?

Plenty of other stuff in this update with emojis being one of the smaller things. But reading this thread it seems like people don't even care about the update or any details and just want to try to come up with some clever digs at emojis and Apple and really nothing more.

The Emergency Contact is a nice feature, now implemented through both the Watch and iPhone makes it more seamless. Seems to be the most significant update in 10.2.

The headphones icon in the top right corner is it new? I'm unsure, it appears when I connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones.

More emojis! I use them all the time so new ones are always welcome. The SOS looks like one of this decisions that isn't that big - until it saves someones life.

To be fair it's not as if Apple think "I know, let's have an avocado emoji" - it's an industry-wide consortium that decides what emojis are going to exist and all Apple, Google and all the other OS developers do is design their own take on how they want an avocado to appear on their OS, which is a graphics design job so coding doesn't come into it. As someone else said, this is just about Apple supporting a standard, we all want that, right? It's not as if Apple are ploughing resources into this at the cost of iOS development. But I guess most of us already knew this, only it's just instinct to moan about new emojis every time.

All I see is more constant non sequitur whinning from people like you, must be a skill.

I am so, so happy that we have more emoji's. Nothing can stop Apple now. Being the top reported item for the release just tells me how important these little icons are for the world.

any one started to notice that his iphone 6 started to stutter and jam after upgrading to 10.1?

Time for me to make a new purchase, huh Tim?
