What in the hell is that +/- icon in the top right corner of that screen? And why the F are there two horizontally stacked navigations at the footer?

Or maybe the dark folders background was a bug.

That button zooms in and out on how many pics show up per row. At least that what it did for me. I still hate the fact there is no more dedicated camera roll.

It allows you to zoom in or out to maximize the number of photos, or zoom into only seeing one photo. i would imagine it's there to make it easier to zoom in/out while using the new voice control?

Can someone confirm if iOS 13 Beta 7 has the same 700 MB AirDrop xfer limit that iOS 12.4 (now) has ???

This is something that I discovered less than a week ago.

To my knowledge, prior to iOS 12.4, AirDrop never had a Xfer (OR Filesize) limit !

Sent Cook a Tweet about it, but NO response (naturally).

Didn't we go through that once before when they removed the Camera Roll and then had to add it back in because so many people complained?

Yes they did a few versions a go. I just don't get the logic on why group it all together. I like to keep my albums (synced from my Mac) separate from whatever pics I took on my phone. In iOS 13, I can still see my albums individually, but if I want to see my camera roll, all album photos are grouped with whatever pics I took on my phone.

I'm surprised no one is mentioning (just ios13 features in general) that notify me when someone leaves or arrives now forces the other person to get a notification. I'm all for it, since I don't snoop, but I am getting annoyed asf getting notifications that someone created a geofence that involves my location. Got to be a way to disable that idiocracy.

I'll try, but is the limit on the person sending or receiving. Reason I ask, is I am on iOS13 and sent a 1gb transfer w/o issues to a person running ios12.

Yes i understand its never a good idea, and i know there is bugs and i am okay with some bugs. But, is this one stable enough to run on my daily XS?

Just updated my iPad Pro. Trying to multitask (split view & slide over) using apps that are embedded in folders in the dock won't work for me. Anyone else having this problem? If an app is just in the dock or in the recently used section that multitasking works just fine. Seems like a glitch. Hope it isn't a "feature".

On the plus side, messages doesn't seem to crash and go to grey like it was in the last beta!

I would assume (and yes, it's just an assumption) that since we're on beta 7 and just a few weeks from release, it's pretty darn stable. I've had no issues on my iPad Pro since beta 1, but decided not to run the beta on my phone this year so I can't speak for that completely.

I think the headers are them slow stepping us away from the old and into the new.

Just my guess though.

BOO.

Everyone submit bug reports regarding this.

I like the transparent folders better too!!!

What would this be for, to prevent someone that stole your phone from viewing the photos?

Sometimes kids play with the phone and will look through your pictures. Or sometimes a friend will ask to scroll see some pics of an event we went together. Don't want to deal with the stress or them seeing pic they shouldn't without me having to keep an eye on what they are looking at. Plus, if you have an apple TV, the hidden pics automatically transfer to the apple TV. Kids can easily see them while playing with the Apple TV

Thanks, same here as have been running it on my iPad Pro since the start too.

Seriously, Apple, let us FaceID-protect Hidden Photos!

Don't be stupid!

Also, it's almost 2020, and Mail app still doesn't sync iCloud read status from macOS to iOS. What the hell!! iOS-to-macOS syncs just fine, but not macOS-to-iOS. Get your **** together!
Yes, please. It's about time.

I want the password/FaceID requirement for hidden photos too... But I didn't think hidden photos synced to the AppleTV?

Seriously, people, learn to say "no".

What's "iCloud read status"?

How would this hypothetical "someone" get into the phone in the first place?
