there are 2 logical choices.

a tripped out powermac (maybe more?) with eight 30 inch screens around him (so it makes a circle around him.) That would be chiller.

or...

a PC. we all know jobs loves PCs:rolleyes:

See? Rubbing his hands and cackling with glee. What'd I tell ya?

Actually he is gnashing his teeth and quietly wondering what he can do to prevent his audience from noticing that kernel panic he got on his machine :D

just b/c he could doesn't mean he would. I wouldn't, even if I had all the money in the world b/c it would be a total waste, and so much more cluttered than what i would actually use.

Probably has a mac invisi on his desk.

Yea, that makes sense.

He says that people are always asking him "where did the computer go?"

I reckon he doesn't go through that many computers. Yes he probably has a Quad G5 right now but his last PowerMac could well have lasted quite a long time. I know its nice getting new computers and all but if you're the CEO of a company and can always get the latest and greatest first of all you know exactly what your next computer is going to be capable of and the one after that too so you wouldn't have as much of the excitement.
Besides which it'd be a bit of a hassle having to constantly migrate everything from one computer to another every few months. God knows I need to wipe and reinstall some of my computers but I can't face the hassel so I just leave them be.

I'm sure Stevie-Boy would have one of his many lackeys do this kind of thing for him.

What kind of Mac does Steve Jobs have at home? Which ever one he wants.

We all know where them refurbished macs come from :) he picks a new imac and macbookpro up each week. Then they resell it as "refurbished" now he never has to worry about being out dated :) or cleaning his dusty keyboard!

true, true. but, that's what i want. a lot of screens around me in a circle. wouldn't that be great for shooters? you have a 360 degree of battle all around you. that would be supurb

He probably goes home and walks into a secret compartment in his bedroom, then, using the latest Apple technology to identify himself, walks to a holographic display emanating from the top of a beautifully brushed aluminium cube only 10cm square and says, "Computer, show me the future!".

The computer is of course from the future and with its gleaming Apple logo on the front explains to him what he has done to bring Apple to the top and MS into oblivion...hehe....hooo...hhahah....muuuwahahah!.:p

with his creativity skills, he probably has made a mac classic run a G5 or a intel chip inside I'm sure. I know he isn't sitting around at home doing nothing though.

Well we know he has had a 17 inch Powerbook in the not too distant past, because of the e-mail he sent out when he was in post-op from his cancer surgery, proudly PSing that he was using his 17 inch PB and Airport Express from his hospital bed.

The man's and old school programmer. I believe the bare essentials. He'd keep it clean and logical. I would say Imac or Powermac G5 and a 15" or 17" powerbook for his travels.

Or even some macs never released. Let's say the G5 powerbook prototype that they never solved cooling problems for. Maybe just maybe, his house is like a museum of different types of macs, even unreleased ones.

Yeah! That'd be cool! Oh sorry, I'm drooling again.

LoL!! I know I know. He could have a Mac Cave like Batman has a bat cave. Oooh wait!! Steve Jobs is BATMAN!!

I don't see Jobs as a major Mac fan at all (like i doubt he fanatically collects macs). We all presume that because he's CEO, he has any mac he wishes. Well although this maybe the case we must remember it was Woz who who the technofile, whereas Jobs always drove for market success.

Although I'm not suggesting he has a Dell, although there probably is one in his house somewhere, what possible reason would there be for Jobs to have more than 1 computer per family member (I'd imagine he has a MacBook Pro now). He doesn't strike me as someone who'll salivate over his new computer, he probably lifts one eye brow and smirks... 'this is good, this is income.'

If I'm not mistaken I believe he's said on several occasions that he's a huge imac user (he loves how its one unit). At his keynotes he could very well use a powermac but doesn't. His choice machine is always the imac (unless he's trying to make the machine seem more important and powerful than it is..i.e if its good enough for him than it's good enough for your home use).
