When realators upload photos of houses or apartments in the order they were taken as they were walking around the propery, navigating through them kinda feels like playing an old point-and-click adventure. It's like really boring Myst.
I laughed out loud when I read that. Was looking at photos yesterday that some realtor had put up of a rural lakefront property. It was undeveloped, except for a dirt road that ran in at an angle off the public road for about a quarter-mile and then just came to an end somewhere in the deep woods.... spooky! Also, no turnaround, so even spookier.
On my mind: the fall equinox and how long the light already was here at 1pm today. Funny how this time of year I suddenly abandon catch-as-catch can breakfasts of a banana and a handful of grapes and half a mini-naan after the coffee... and resume breakfasting on more substantial things like oatmeal (or even a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich), as if my body is trying to tell me "better stock up, winter is coming." It must have to do with the shifting light and not the temperature outside, because we're having a lingering stretch of summer weather here, which is welcome.
