One thing I like about their/they're/there is you can substitute all the permutations into Gertrude Stein's comment about Oakland, and see which ones have a kind of subtle insight and which are nonsense:
There is no there there. (original)
There is no their there.
There is no they're there.
They're is no their there.

Oh, and post 10,000 in this thread. Booyah!

Why can't dealerships answer such simple questions about a transmission? I'm so stressed over physical pain, bills, and politics that being unable to get what should be simple questions answered has me in tears. I'm just tired.

Will they stop treating me like I'm an idiot because I'm asking about fluid, workmanship warranties, if I'd need to change the filter and pan gasket? Is the filter mesh or not? Why is that so hard to answer really?

Edit: Now my Apple cord is done and I have no other USB-C to lightening cables. My iPad does not charge on any other of my other bricks. *Sigh*

A pressing question, and one of consuming importance, I agree.

I'm with @yaxomoxay,quoted below.

Coffee for me, almost always.

Perfect.

In the name of the Unholy MacRumors Empire, and in the powers of Impromptu Emperor conferred to me by His Holiness Myself, and with the faithful support of the Royal Scepticalscribe, I hereby declare that Coffee it is.

I had an occasional black coffee. But it’s been months. Usually just if I’m out (which is why it’s been months!). Always coffee if I’m in Europe as they don’t understand tea.
But I’m probably a solid 6-12 cups of tea most days.

I agree. It's coffee and only coffee. Light or medium roast. Are you in need of a court jester?

Now, the declaration that "they don't understand tea" is provocatory and charming at the same time. I am intrigued.

Coffee sounds very gourmet when you guys talk about it. Shame I can't drink it. Only herbal teas too. No caffeine for me, good thing I'm already wide awake all the time.

Can you drink decaf?

The whole point (well, most, or much, of the point) of coffee is the caffeine.

An espresso without caffeine is a contradiction in terms.

.........Always coffee if I’m in Europe as they don’t understand tea.
........

There is much truth to this observation.

By way of contrast, much of Asia doesn't really "get" coffee, but can offer superb tea.

And then, there are a few countries with an ambience or culture where they produce (and serve) both superb tea and coffee, or "get" (and serve) and grow superb tea and coffee (In this context, Turkey and Kenya come to mind).
