I enjoy Stella Artois on special occasions -- and the other day while at the grocery store, bought some in preparation -- and now at last this evening I'll be opening a bottle and enjoying every mouthful!!!!

I can relate.

Whatever is consumed - irrespective of whether it comes from the Grape or the Grain - will be all the sweeter this evening.

Enjoy - nay, savour - every single sip of your Stella.

I'm already looking forward to my Stella -- but it is a bit early yet to open one, so will patiently wait. Actually it is so nice outside -- would you believe 76 degrees! -- I'm thinking I'll sit out on the deck with it. This warm weather is absolutely amazing and sheer delight! We have the benefit of low humidity, the beautiful reflections in the water from the trees that still have colorful leaves, and a great temperature -- what more could one ask?! Ah, yes, and that, too, is a part of this delightful day!

I think you can risk an early Stella this evening, given the unusual circumstances and occasion for celebration.

Some rather good news for many of us in the US today has just broken...... :)

For some, strange, inexplicable, reason I can now actually concentrate on what I plan to prepare for dinner.

Not as cheerful as you two (I wonder what’s the news you are talking about????) but it is what it is and I will respect the outcome of this news (unknown to me) and on a random day in January - I am thinking the 20th - I will congratulate whoever got to a certain point.

Across the miles and the Big Pond, clinking my Stella chalice virtually with your goblet of German dark beer! Cheers, SS!
Cheers, and do enjoy.

I can't believe this; I had forgotten to switch on my electric blanket, and worse, I have had only one (celebratory, but immensely and intensely enjoyed) beer.

For some strange and doubtless inexplicable reason, I have realised that I was both tired (well, yes, my bed is only now beginning the process of becoming sufficiently warm to welcome me) and hungry - a state that was resolved with the preparation of a delicious tom yum (hot and sour) vegetarian broth (prepared from lovely organic produce purchased this very morning at the farmers' market) served with basmati rice.

But, you know, it is indeed strange that one can be persuaded by circumstances to overlook (and forget about) both fatigue and hunger.

Why can't dealerships answer such simple questions about a transmission? I'm so stressed over physical pain, bills, and politics that being unable to get what should be simple questions answered has me in tears. I'm just tired.

Will they stop treating me like I'm an idiot because I'm asking about fluid, workmanship warranties, if I'd need to change the filter and pan gasket? Is the filter mesh or not? Why is that so hard to answer really?

Edit: Now my Apple cord is done and I have no other USB-C to lightening cables. My iPad does not charge on any other of my other bricks. *Sigh*
Shoot me a message I can answer them, I’m a car guy diy since I was 17.

Thank you! I definitely will -- it'll be the best Stella I ever had!!!! (Well, the best bottled Stella; I really love Stella on draft whenever I can get it, but obviously it's been a long time now since I've had that pleasure.)

Had a delicious cup of coffee early this morning, a nice Veranda/Verona blend from whole bean, fresh ground, via our French Press, topped off with this amazing cookies and cream creamer from Chobani. It was extra good this morning, heck, I'd say it was probably the best cup of coffee I've had in, oh, like 4 years.

Mmmmmm, nothing like a cup of fresh hot coffee nicely roasted and blended, and prepared to one's liking! Ditto waking up to a morning fresh with potential and visions of an exciting future.....

I have to say that my coffee (a blend of my own devising from three different types of coffee from central America, a coffee from Costa Rica, one from El Salvador and one from Honduras) served with organic, full fat, hot milk, was exceptionally tasty - more so than usual, I must say - and enormously enjoyed, this morning.

Whats with everyone jumping on the Podcast bandwagon? Does it like make money or something?!
While its nice to listen on topics that you care about, I found most of them are just people bored and want to speak their minds off and chat. Honestly I don't care.

Then just don’t listen to them. I think it’s easier for people to record podcasts if they are working from home.

Podcasts are something I've never gotten into.....don't care to listen to them and I sure as heck am not about to create one! I suppose for some people they're interesting if they're on a topic of particular concern or if someone doesn't want to listen to music while driving to work or on a road trip, but I prefer music when I'm behind the wheel....
