Don’t you just spoon it out of a jar into a cup and add water? It’s so instant! 🤪
No, that is not what we do.
A spoon, yes, and coffee, also, and hot water, but time is also added to the equation when preparing decent coffee.

Hope it all goes well. Just think you’ll be able to go out for a nice concert or meal sooner than the rest of us!
No way am I going out to eat or to any concerts or a movie in a cinema until the majority of the population has been vaccinated and it is deemed safe to do so! I shall continue wearing my mask (actually, a new presidential order has just been announced: mask-wearing is mandatory on all federal properties, which in the DC area of course contains many more buildings and grounds than in most areas). I'll also continue with the usual washing of my hands more frequently, not running hither-and- yonder to various places where there are a lot of people, etc. etc. In short, nothing much will change except that as of later today I'll be among the many in this country who have so far received their first jab.
Very sensible. Good luck with it.No way am I going out to eat or to any concerts or a movie in a cinema until the majority of the population has been vaccinated and it is deemed safe to do so! Totally agree. There is a bitter wind. But it was still lightish at 4:45.That makes complete sense.
I briefly headed to the local shop to colect my organic milk, (and cream), buy oranges, butter and some sparkling mineral water.
Yes, the evenings are now a little longer, but, good Heavens, it is cold.

Agreed. Although our snowdrops are out, so it feels a little more spring like.Yes, the fact that it was still a little bit bright (or, a bit less dark) towards the west at that time is very welcome. A month since the darkest day (or night).....
Bitter wind, though.

I saw a few dug up as he put the fence in, but that doesn’t really count! But yes longer days and daffodils are a sure sign spring is on its way.Snowdrops, well, yes, - they still call winter to mind - but I become inexplicably excited - and delighted - when my eyes alight on the first daffodils, - and they tend to make an appearance in early to mid Februrary, irrespective of how cold and dark it still is.

Just the bulbs. They got disturbed by the digging.Daffodils already?
I mus keep my eyes opne - on my rare excursions.
But, I will admit that my heart leaps whenever I first see them.
When she was still mobile, and mentally still reasonably sharp, Mother used to plant a few daffodils every year as she knew that I really loved them.

My favourite flowers are those that attract bee’s. I love bees for photography. Lavender always seems popular. Smells nice to.Ah, fair enough.
Yes, I remember Mother planting a few bulbs, scattered around the garden; and yes, I loved to see them, every time I pass daffodils they bring forth a smile from me.
Other flowers are far more beautiful, or have an amazing scent, but I will always smile to see (and greet) a daffodil.

quite puzzling, but I hope he recovers.A new wacky Site and Forum Feedback thread.

The weirdest part isn't even the aversion to masks; it's the fact that he clearly has a workaround to avoid seeing them but still thinks the onus is on us to change the imagery.Yes, very peculiar.

Anxiety and depression can manifest in very unique ways depending on the person. People also develop all kinds of coping mechanisms instead of trying to treat the root cause. The weirdest part isn't even the aversion to masks; it's the fact that he clearly has a workaround to avoid seeing them but still thinks the onus is on us to change the imagery.
My cat seems like she might sort of understand doorknobs; whenever she wants in or out of a room, she jumps up and paws at them.
I'm tempted to buy one with a handle just to see if she figures out how to use it.
God, quarantine can't end soon enough.

I tease my Millie, closing my one door with a lever-handle, she opens it asap, and lets me know that is not acceptable behavior on her loyal subject.
