Why do some of us, constantly procrastinate on certain things? Honestly, why not just get on with it, and get it out of the way…
Gonna have to think about it and get back to you later…

I think that Japan is not going to be permitting anyone other than the competitors and their support people (coaches, etc.) into the country for the Olympics; no fans from other countries, no family members, etc. I am not sure if they will have a large crowd of local Japanese spectators for each event or if there will be limits on that as well. I would assume that there will be representatives from the media, though -- there need to be so that the rest of us out here will know what is happening!Thing is it’s not like the current football tournament going on in Europe. You have about 50 people per country. With the Olympics, you have so many more. The teams, the athletes, the coaches and support staff. Hundreds of them. Plus a lot more countries involved. That’s before we get to press and fans etc.
I'm tempted to light one of these while reading my Kindle:

That'd be a pretty cool anachronistic experience.![]()
I’m thinking of another smelly candle that a certain actress sells now!I actually got one of these for my birthday.

It genuinely does sort of smell like old books… until you light it. Then it just has a generic candle smell.

When the cellulose in books break down, it produces scents similar to almond or vanilla, so not super crazy for a candle.Oh, good grief, a candle that supposedly smells like musty, dusty old books?!!! Now I've seen everything!!! ROTFL!.

I prefer a vanilla scent myself, but each to their own!Since I had no idea to whom or what you were referring, I ran a Google. Oh. Now that is just unbelievable!!!! Good Grief times ten!!!!! Sheeeesh!!!!! Do people really buy that thing???!!!
In fact I am writing it down as it feels like the continuation of a dream I had in May which reflects a lot of stresses I am undergoing at the moment. Same characters in some cases.Wow I had a lucid dream last night which I hope augurs well. Really strange.

Ok my dreams are getting weirder. We took our university exchange students on a trip to Kazan Russia. We entered on bus and had the passport check etc. and they went shopping. I've dreamt of taking students to the Canadian Rockies as well previously as well as Nova Scotia (where I did my undergrad).
I get a lot of crap about this because I refuse to jump on the bandwagon. Like with rape accusations and things of the like, I chose to not presume guilt. I might say it looks bad but I won't assume guilt. People love their hypocrisy to support only certain others. For me, you're innocent until proven guilty. On my mind… the shocking amount of people that don’t understand due process.
I think a number of us may have had strange dreams during the pandemic.
