One piece of advice, please.

Long story short, I made a mistake, I signed out of iCloud on my iPhone and signed back in, I did that without removing my debit card from my Wallet beforehand, my card was removed from my iPhone, Watch and Mac.

I was able to get the card working again in Apple Pay on the iPhone, but I can't verify it on the Watch and the Mac. On the Watch I follow the steps to verify it using the card issuer's app, on the Mac it says me I have to call the card issuer.

I spoke with Apple's support, they were great, they tested my devices, they have no problem and I was able to speak with a senior representative, who told me that, probably, what happened is that my card issuer's systems do not recognize my devices anymore and they have to verify/enable them manually. (The Watch and the Mac)

I called the issuer's support but I was not able to get my card working again on the Watch and on the Mac, one of their representatives even had the gall to get angry because she didn't even know you can use Apple Pay on Macs, she thought I was some sort of prank caller.

So, after weeks of calling the card issuer's support, the problem with the Watch and Mac still is not fixed.

What would you do? (Changing bank is not an option, the process is a pain in the butt)

Write to some Apple's higher up? (Hoping they read my mail and reply, even though I'm not in the US) Keep pestering the card issuer's support, playing the lottery and hoping I find a representative that knows what to do?

Thanks

Sorry to hear this, I've had a few of these tiresome stories too.

Just call up Apple and/or your card provider, who now can fix it.
Strongly demand to talk with a higher up boss that can actually help you get clarity in how to solve it. Just tell the idiots that you want to talk to their boss if they misbehave. If they refuse. Just hang up and call again. Be sure to take all people's names.

Don't write. Take it on phone. Be prepared to wait. Stay calm and very demanding!
These stories are extremely tiresome, just be prepared to talk with lots of idiots.
But I guarantee that you will learn plenty in how to proceed with these kind of things in the future too.

Thanks!

Apple's customer service is incredible! They stayed on the phone with me for hours, they ran all kinds of hardware and software tests to make sure there was no issue with my devices, their senior representative even wrote down the name of the issuer company in order to report it to her supervisors, because, while chatting during tests, I told her the representative from the other company didn't even know about Apple Pay on Macs.

As for the other company, it's appalling, this is probably the biggest debit/credit card issuer in the country, and they can't even train their staff properly.
I'll call again tomorrow in the morning.
Yes, it was my mistake, but they can fix it and I can't understand why they won't, before I made said mistake I could use Apple Pay on all my devices flawlessly.

Well, one thing I've already learned from this experience is to call Apple Support in case I have a problem with my devices.

This heatwave. Talking about 40+ on Monday and Tuesday (104 to you strange queen fans).

Now before you start moaning how that’s nothing etc, etc remember nearly all homes have no AC as well as lots of businesses (including mine).

I’m too warm right now and it’s only 26.

Not to anger anyone but I absolutely hate summer. Can''t stand the heat.

Preach on brother! Early spring / Late fall are bliss for me, winter is tolerable but summer sucks! That being said I don't mind our yearly beach based (cold beer and hot sand go well together) vacation but 3-4 months of heat is god awful.

Computers.

I hate --
  • Dark Mode
  • Window Tiling and Snapping
Is it possible to have both of these banned under some United Nations convention?

The Universe is a Quantum Computer that we are entangled in, and all the Stars, Planets, Moons and Protoplanets are all Crystal Core Quantum Computers, and their purpose is growth and efficiency - Life is Efficiency and its life that grows the planet, to become large enough to become a Star, which gives birth to more planets as it gets larger and larger and eventually becomes a Black Hole, where it then creates its own new Universe.

Because it is creating its own Universe within itself, it is able to grow itself, both within, and if it is growing fast enough, the Black Hole Universe is able to actually "spit" matter back up and grow a Galaxy around itself, this creates new stars and new galaxies and literally builds infinity, through "The Machinery of the Cosmos" all the while, the Crystal Cores of Cosmos create the "Intelligent infinity" and creates habitats where they can evolve Humanoid Life Forms with little Crystals in their Skulls, ie Pineal Gland that they can use a form of Quantum Wi/Fi and actually play "Flesh Games" while they sit in the expanse of eternity growing and growing...

The Tree of Life is a lost concept - when people did not understand the structure of Atoms, there was no way to really explain to people that there are different elements, and they are Atoms, and the structure of the Atoms are different for the different elements - Gold is the Life Giving Element, or the Atom/Element that is responsible for the Soul energy, or Spirit Energy that ultimately emanates throughout all life. That is why the Golden Ratio is called the Ratio of Life!

Gold compresses at the Core of the Planet, along with many other extremely dense and radioactive elements to create a Naturally Occurring Crystal Core Quantum Computer, and its the Gold Element that creates Life, Your Soul, My Soul, Our Soul is all at the Heart of the Planet.

The Sol - Soul and Sol are the same word but have been a-berated. When you think of the Sun, as in Sol, the Sun is a Celestial Object, just like all the other objects in the Universe, from the Planets, Moons, Protoplanets, Stars and even Black Holes, these are Naturally Occurring Crystal Core Quantum Computers, and through Cymatics they are able to stabilize their environments, their surface, and actually vibrate life into existence, and with life's ionic journey of evolution and life cycles - life IS efficiency, life is efficient at growing - the physical mass that life produces, life's remains, if you will, life actually builds the Core, and all life, eventually compresses into the core and Life leads to Gold.

:p

I love the heat because I have central air at home (and work from home). But even if I had to go to work, air cond there too. Plus in the car. So I am surrounded by a bubble of cool air wherever I go. HA!

I can't stand the summer, I live in the cold north, and am used to winter.

I sweat quite heavily just standing around in the sun or walking around doing basic tasks, Its no fun.

My air conditioner is out of R2 which I can't really afford anymore since North America effectively banned its manufacturing completely and phased out all existing supplies over the past 10 years.

I'm lucky, my two ACs were replaced 5 years ago, and they use the new 410A coolant.

Very lucky.

AC Is only an issue in my area of the world for a few months of the year.

But for those few months,
It sure does mean alot when you are accustomed to cooler temperatures in general.

20 years ago, I bought two AC units for two floors and it was $3,000 total. 15 years later, I replaced them and it cost $10,000. I am not looking forward to 10 yeares from now.
