Trying to reduce/stop my swearing. But, what is on my mind is, if I swear mentally, is it that same thing…
Maybe rising your awareness of what’s trigger your anger, if it is anger behind it, in the first place, would help.

Anger in itself is not a bad thing. All human emotions are natural and there for a reason to guide us in our lives. But it's just that, emotions of all sort are a guidance, not a dictator.
That said, I'm a long time meditator, and my anger is still firing up strongly at times. Especially regarding situations that I feel somewhat I can’t control in the way I wish I could.
I really don’t consider it as something bad, it’s strong and powerful energy in anger to harness and direct in better conscious ways.
Greet the anger as a friend, don’t fight with yourself.

Thanks for that. I might add, my issue is more of the causal unnecessary use of swear words. Like, watching a football match or something like that. Albeit, watching Arsenal play, can yield all sorts of emotions :)

Get it, enjoy it, don't invest your emotions to hard in them, as you can't change, affect or alter their way of playing/losing/winning. Regardless it doesn't change your life. It's just entertainment if you don't have any power on it. Have fun with it.

I have played football myself, and of course continued to watch and cheer on our teams. But it doesn't change a thing in my life whether they win or lose. It's pure entertainment.
I can be equally entertained of another team or just players that I find technically good. Just appreciating the skills.
Lets say, you guess/predict/want a certain winner in the final in Women's Euro tonight.
Sweden is out so I don't have any national emotions invested to take into any consideration at all. So I pick the team that have raised and will execute some more entertainment for me, that's it. Pure selfishness in what I want to see 😂

Edit: Personally I want to see Alexandra Popp really perform at her absolute highest level tonight.
She is the absolutely best player in the Euro this year. So I hope for a great entertainment ⚽🔥
2nd edit: Popp injured and didn't start, ah well 🤔 Pretty open game this far.

I tested positive for Covid today ☹️ Very strange as I seem to be going through bouts of feeling fatigued and then feeling normal. Have a runny very blocked nose too, been sneezing and of course I have a dry cough. It's like a strange bad cold.
Started feeling ill on Thursday but was testing negative till today.
I'm triple jabbed though so fingers crossed it'll be gone by this Thursday. And I'll be grumpy till then 😂🤣

The only known, 100% effective, cure for grumpy is a kitten. 🐱.

As for the Covid symptoms, I can recommend cold tablets. They don't cure the problem but they do a very good job of hiding them. The Covid virus does come from the Cold family of viruses so it's not unreasonable that cold tablets work.

We have a lovely dog but I’ve got to ignore him till I’m testing negative, I googled it and they said it’s rare they catch it, but if they do it’s pretty bad so took the advice of steering clear of him, he won’t like that.
I have to be careful what cold tablets I take as I have a slight heart condition and have to take bisoprolol for it, but I’ll read the label and see if paracetamol is on the list, I know ibuprofen is, thanks for the tip 👍

It'll go away as a cold at this point. I'd say tops 3 bad days.

I must say that one of the funniest things is watching a 300 gram fluffball of a kitten trying to dominate a dog about 100 times its mass. And usually winning...

If we didn’t produce excess food or waste food, cats would have eaten us all about 20,000 years ago. We gave them an option - use more energy to eat us or just sit around and eat our excess and waste.

Without that option, the Earth would have literally been Planet of the Thundercats today.

Woke up not feeling like I fully rested. Then, today was interesting overall, but, wondering if it was more related to me not feeling fully rested.

Well, roll on tomorrow…

Tested positive for COVID yesterday. First time I've had it so been lucky until now. Not feeling too great but then again, not too bad. It's just like I have a heavy cold. Have a stuffy nose and a mild headache. The worst of it is is that I feel exhausted. Went to bed last night at 8pm and didn't get up until 7:30 this morning but did not benefit. This thing is robbing me of any meaningful sleep.....Hopefully it'll only last a few days. I cannot begin to imagine what it must of been like in the beginning with the breathing problems etc... I've had 3 jabs thankfully.

You may have been infected during your hospital visit on the weekend. A place to avoid if at all possible. Best of luck in your recovery.

On my mind. Messed up royally having a later in life family. I am 62 years old I don't care if planet earth burns to hell which it will I will not see the bitter end. What about my daughters 11, 7 and 8 months? What life will they have? Even if it is bearable would they ever consider having children? They should not ever even consider it in my opinion. Changes the entire dynamics of procreation.

As humans in many instances we never had it any better than we have now. I’d say discouraging young people from living life is a real problem we need to look at these days. Life is always worth a shot.

I tested positive on Sunday, first time for me too. I haven’t had the fatigue as much, but I’ve had the worst blocked up nose I’ve ever had. I get nose problems anyway but this was something else. Better today though, I took yesterday and today off work so have rested to allow myself to get rid of it properly. I had a wonderful lie in today. It is just like a weird bad cold. I have had a bad cough though which is almost gone.
I agree without the vaccines I think it would be something else.

Still managed to avoid Covid. Just as well. I don't have time to be sick.
Never say never. Just continue to be careful. I thought I'd avoided it up until now.....I am however continuing to work. Not bad enough for me to be off work. I prefer to work as it takes my mind off it. Better than just sitting around all day. That's me anyway. Stay safe!
