4G would be my #1 vote. Dont care for a larger screen, though it appears the majority would like to see.

Yes.. Larger Screen, better Battery Life, LTE (with the obvious switch to turn it off).. and very importantly, an external redesign. Here's hoping for a Liquid Metal back.

i want lte, though only if they can do it without seriously impacting battery life (which i doubt is possible right now). but it seems everyone wants a bigger screen, which by itself i don't mind. i start to mind when it makes the overall phone size bigger (no thanks).

Not too concerned with 4G especially if AT&T is going to throttle me at 3GB anyway. A bigger screen, and larger battery to accommodate will do me just fine.

The battery life is absolutely atrocious on the iPhone 4S. I'm not the type to obsess over the battery meter, but I cannot go a day without running down to 0 on this thing with moderate to heavy use. It's required the purchase of a battery extender to ensure that I have enough juice to get me through the day. Shouldn't have to do that.

Same size phone but edge to edge screen:apple:

If Apple were to increase the screen size I agree with this idea.
I don't understand all the people clamoring for a bigger screen. Who wants to carry something bigger than the current iPhone in their pocket?
Certainly not me. It is the perfect size without sacrificing too much screen space as it is.

The single most reason holding me back from buying an iPhone 4S right now early before my contract is up is that it doesn't have a 4 inch screen (I'd have to debate on getting it if it's larger than 4.3"). Don't get me wrong, the display it has now is really nice but I'm spoiled with my 4" galaxy S phone. I'd also like to see the iPhone 5 have 4G LTE so I can have a piece of mind knowing it's future proof.

I bet it will never happen but the one physical feature I wish iPhones had was an optical trackball... recessed and placed right where that square is on the home button. I absolutely hate having to use that magnifying glass thing to move the cursor around and select text.

It's not about individual connectivity and data transfer, it's about network availability and reliability, effective use of spectrum, and the deployment of greenfield spectrum.

Even if they limited LTE to 3mbps, it would still be hugely valuable in the middle of Manhattan or at a large sporting event.

Apple would never do that, but I applaud you for thinking outside the box. Good feature for an Android phone though...

Overall I voted for 128GB, but really, I don't see anything that should be changed over the 4S. It is pretty much the perfect phone. Everything I'd like to see changed or fixed is in software. Maybe a flip-out antenna for reception beyond what internal switching antennas can do, but we all know that's not happening!

Unfortunately you've fallen prey to one of the most misinformed images on the internet. Are you a clone of everyone else? No? Then why would your hands be the exact dimensions of anyone else's?

The red below is my (approximate) thumb range (I forgot to trim the top, but you get the idea). Believe it or not, some people are bigger than others.

How are you liking the HTC titan so far? It's a pity it never launched in Canada :(

A bigger screen does not automatically mean a bigger phone. My number one reason for not getting an iphone is the small screen. A 4" screen on the current phone would be perfect.

This image is not misinformed. I think it's a great visualization of what an average sized hand experiences with a phone. If you have larger hands and/or prefer larger phones, no one is forcing you to use an iPhone. When Apple designs products, they actually take into account the user experience, unlike other companies. A 4.3-5" screen might sound good on paper, but in real world usage, it just isn't practical for the average consumer. Not to mention the unnecessary fragmentation it would cause for developers.
