Well, I take that back. Some of the posts I've read look like it was written by a 6 year old.

29+. So that's how a 21 year old views people 29 and over...and they say 30 is the new 20.

This is an awful set of options to choose from. Please don't ever go into statistics. COPPA laws prohibit anybody from even using the forums under a certain age.

I understand that most people here act like they're 6, but sadly the demographics are much, much older.

Just FYI, I thought that anyone 30+ is mature enough not to be posting childish posts, which seems to be the majority of posts in this forum. I made this poll to check what we're dealing here, and if it's worth discussing/arguing when an outrageous claim is stated. I'm actually surprised the poll is dominated by people over 30, from assessing the quality of most posts in this forum I expected teenagers.

Well, people do celebrate anniversaries of their 29th birthday rather than aging. Maybe that is the point at which life is over and no longer worth living.

I've already replied about this in the first page. The quality of the posts in this forum made me think I should focus on younger age groups. I'm very surprised that the 30+ age group dominates the poll. If I've known that I would have segregated it into more choices.

I'm baffled by the poll results, either the older age group do not post and the younger ones aren't voting, or some of the older age group are posting in this forum like 6-12 year olds to troll.

A) it is a poll and people can pick what they want.
B) you technically aren't supposed to be able to register for this site if you're under 13.
C) actual age does not mean the mental age of some isn't much younger.

Speaking for myself, I came of age on AOL with my trusty 2400 baud modem. Learning from the older members (like AFC Joe from Hawaii) who patiently shared their knowledge. Maybe these new communities are to large or our new fangled modems are just to fast to inspire learning.

Baffles me that everyone is raging over 29+ option yet basic comprehension is no where to be found. I won't keep repeating myself and read through this thread for the answer I have mentioned 1 gazillion times.

I am old and i am way worse in real life.

It baffles me that people think Age = Maturity. Being old (29+) doesn't automatically make someone mature. Just like being young doesn't make someone immature.

A better poll would have been something like:

State your maturity level:
1- Very mature
2- Awesome
3- The awesomest
4- I just farted in my cubicle

I think you'll get a better perspective of the posters here.
