I like the swiping motions to do everything instead of having to press the home button.

Sometimes you click too many times Wallet comes up or you hold too long Siri comes on. I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I have a regular iPhone 7 and an iPhone 7 Plus. Do like the screen feels as big as the Plus, but the body of the phone is the size of the regular iPhone. Much less awkward making calls.

Gestures for sure. The gestures are so much more natural than that dumb old fashioned home button!!

I guess this is one thing, but it really impacts everything and it’s how Face ID has created a seamless experience. Basically it means the phone is always unlocked to ME, but still secure. It’s really a pleasant way to actually use the device.

So far I am really liking everything. Very impressed.

If I have to pick...I feel like I am joining the chorus, but the Face ID and the OLED screen are awesome.

Also, sorry I need to add more as I think it is just such a gorgeous phone. I have the Silver, and it is even more beautiful in person. I really liked the design of the 4, but this blows that out of the water, in my opinion.
I really like the silver phone too. It's a mixture of the original iPhone / 3G design plus the elegance of the 4 and size of the 6 without all the design flaw of that design. It's almost perfect for me.

i've never not had black iPhone (since way back)

when i saw this year's keynote, i knew i was getting a black one..

somewhere around 2 weeks after keynote and rewatching the vids/pics etc... i realized "wait a minute.. the white one is the sweet one.. duh"

i've seen both colors in person today and couldn't be happier about the color i bought last friday
(silver)

I would like to say the OLED screen, but I'm still not loving the notch or the narrower width.

After picking it up, I had to go strait to work, so I haven't really played with it enough to make a rational judgement on it.

Swiping to go home: I once had a jailbreak tweak that did this, and I loved it and wished that Apple would implement that functionality.

Listed in order:
OLED screen
Touch ID
Quick multitask swipe between apps
Swipe gestures
Solid build quality
Camera

The home button swipe gesture. This was VITAL to be done correctly. It was.

Still prefer the home button, but it’s a great trade off for the extra real estate.

Slightly wider screen and therefore slightly bigger keyboard. After that the camera. (Coming from 4.7").

It's been one day. Give it time and the complaints will start.

Oh wait, I see they already have: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...dont-like-thread.2084047/page-3#post-25382229

Ding ding ding! and off we go...https://www.macrumors.com/2017/11/0...source=osx&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=front

Oh there were complaints from some before the thing was even released! I don’t have any, but I have realistic expectations. I had heard about that faceid story as well. Hopefully they can fix through a software update.

There complaints with every release but why this numpty comes on to this thread is beyond me.

Annnnyway coming from the 7+I like the following

Screen size
Phone size
Swipe up
Face id which has been faultless which is more than I can say for Touch ID.
Camera
Space grey

So far pretty much everything and it’s only been 24hrs

Coming from a plus the form factor. I always complained how big the phone was. This is much better!
Screen. It has a yellow tint, but I can deal. So much more vibrant and beautiful!
