Spigen is releasing a thin jet black case. So there’s that. Oh the irony if it is more smudge and scratch resistant than the actual iPhone. And you slap it on a less popular color iPhone that has an earlier ship date.

Jet black back with a white face could be an interesting combo, especially for the people hoping it would be called piano black.

iPhone user irony #1
1. People buy iPhone for the beautiful design
2. People cover it up with an ugly case

iPhone user irony #2
1. People buy new iPhone for water-resistance
2. People complain smudges and scratches
3. People go swimming in chlorine or scuba diving in salt water with their iPhone 7 which have far more harsh chemicals than your greasy hands

iPhone 7 is supposed to be built for elemental resistance against water and dust. I just find it funny people want to protect any part of it. "Gee, I just bought my new iPhone 7 in jet black! I hate smudges! But let me go to the ocean with and video record coral reefs! Even tap water is harsh.

No point. Unless you plan to sit on that golden egg for your next buyer to give you an extra $20-$50 for it or enjoy wasting money. Or you plan on burying yourself with your possessions or build some iPhone Smithsonian museum in your house that nobody cares about it. Nothing wrong taking care of your things but know your limits.

Blemishes = badge of honor

Thery are all future e-waste. Then when you treat this iPhone 7/7+ like the rare T206 Honus Wagner baseball card, your iPhone becomes slow no matter how mint it is by 2020. A 4-year limit until it lags like crazy.

iPhone 2G - laggy by iOS3
iPhone 3G - laggy by iOS4
iPhone 3Gs - laggy by iOS6
iPhone 4 - laggy by iOS7
iPhone 4s - laggy by iOS9
iPhone 5 - laggy by iOS10

You took care of the exterior all for naught! Sell your mint condition iPhone 5s if you can before iOS11 ruins it next year. There should be a million of those in mint condition with degraded batteries considering how everyone loves its design but covers it up with a case. Irony.

OK 256 JB 7+ ATT fully paid just changed to preparing for shipment. Looks like it will get here before the case from Apple. Any suggestions on a skin that can come Amazon Prime?

Read my response above. You can find it on Amazon. Sorry for not providing a link.

Agreed.

This line of thinking is the same for people who buy cars for resale and I say "Resale? I haven't even gotten the car yet and you want me to do research to determine how the next person will enjoy the car I haven't bought yet? Insanity."
