I'm a little surprised to see the forum overrun with people ordering the 7 plus instead of the 7. I thought the 7 plus was still more of a niche device rather than being as popular as it seems to be. Even with the extra camera, which is the only real benefit I see in it.

Of course, it could just be that no one ordering the 7 has anything to bitch about since they are still shipping by next Friday while the plus is pushed to November.

1. People's hand got larger better model cycles.
2. People's eye sight is going so they need a larger phone.
3. The larger phone isn't as large as it first appears to be.
4. Lots of Samsung users making the switch.
5. Women are opting for larger phones. I see a lot of women in Boston with the 6p / 7p

Once I moved to the 6+ there was no going back to a smaller phone. The screen size, added battery life and the extra camera features make it a very easy decision for me. Being 6'4" with big hands makes the size less of a problem for me. I can do almost everything one handed on it. Its funny to me how not too long ago we wanted our phones smaller and smaller (Nokia 8910 anyone?) and now since smartphones hit they are headed in the other direction.
