I’ve had my iPhone 15 Pro for 8 days now, having upgraded from a 4 year old iPhone 11.

I can’t say I’ve had any problems to date. It came with 17.0.2 pre-installed and I updated it to 17.0.3 immediately.

I set the phone up as new and just logged into iCloud which downloaded notes, reminders, photos, etc. I then went into App Store and downloaded the apps I had on my previous Home Screen and setup my Home Screen layout. It didn’t get warm.

I fully charged it to 100% at exactly midday on Monday. Admittedly I’m a low user, but I next charged it on Thursday evening around 5:30pm (by then it had reached 6%).

My screen on time was around 2 hours 30 minutes on each of Tuesday and Wednesday, each day using around 33% battery. There was a mixture of WiFi when at home, and 4G/5G on my commute to and from work.

It hasn’t gotten warm once since I’ve had it when in use. Nor when I updated OTA to 17.1 on Thursday. The only time it’s gotten warm is when it was charging on the 20W charger, which is not unexpected. (And that’s warm. Not hot. Not uncomfortable to hold. Just warm.)

With my usage, I’m looking at around 7 hours to 7 hours 30 minutes screen on time per full charge. Much better than my iPhone 11 which was down to 85% battery health.

The camera’s an upgrade, especially nighttime photos 🤯.

I’m happy with my purchase.

Thats your opinion.
As is anything you've stated... you are the one talking like it's fact that the 13 Mini is perfect and the 15 Pro is too big - That is only your opinion. The price starts the same as the iPhone X from 2017. Considering inflation and the rising cost of everything else, in the grand scheme of things it's not expensive for what you are getting technology wise.
Most people will likely pay monthly or through their carrier for their phones anyway, which is a insignificant amount of money to most when paid that way.

Having owned both the 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max, the 15 Pro is probably their best overall phone for most people especially those who want the 129hz display and camera upgrades. It totally makes sense why the stores were stocked up on them.

The screen tho is SO small on the pro. Wish it was a tad larger :)

Both.

The 13 Mini was the perfect size and weight. As for the price, both of them cost to much for what they are.
Yes it was/is without a doubt (ive got 12 and 13 mini), but the 15 Pro is the best option for Mini owners with FOMO and the battery life is so much better.

I tried the 15 Pro (as well as other models) the other day at the shop, and its to big and heavy for my liking.

I was pretty adamant that I didn't like the 15 Pro because of the mediocre battery life when I got it, but now that the dust has settled a couple of days later, the battery isn't half bad and I'm pretty obsessed with how pretty the natural titanium color is. I'm using it case-less and every time I glance at it from my desk I appreciate its design and the way the light hits the titanium frame. Took me a while to appreciate the nuances. Now I pretty much love it and stare at it an uncomfortable amount of times a day. 😁

I know, it is big and obviously heavier than the 13 mini but at the end of the day all the iphones are gonna be larger next year so ive grabbed the 15 Pro now whilst its at its smallest size for a 6.1” phone. Just got to try and focus on the positives like the beautiful titanium frame, promotion screen, larger battery which is really good for me and also USB C. Its honestly not that bad compared to my Mini’s.

Oh god yes the natural titanium is stunning and the grey colour on the back is like the modern ‘brooklyn grey’ colour on audis and bmw cars.

I have a 15 Pro Max and it's really not that different than my 13 Pro handling wise, but my 13 Pro battery life always sucked. I should have gone Max sooner. The enhanced battery and 5x zoom is really worth the price difference. I see no reason to go back to a smaller phone but to each their own.

I sense jealousy... not a good look on most

The pro is big?
kidding!! lol.. yeah its hard to know what the "perfect size is"... the age-old question around here. For me it comes down to work and being able to read reports on the go etc. or just being away from the office while traveling, need the battery.

My thoughts exactly, I made the same jump. The battery life coming to the max is night and day, as I only have to charge it every other day.

Supposedly it is going to be slightly larger on the 16.

That being said, I think its actually a pretty good size already. There is some optimal size for portability sake, and its pretty much there already.

Yeah for sure. It’s great. The max is just a bit cumbersome

I know… thats why i’ll keep the latest small model they offered as long as possible.

Care to share your wallpaper? It's stunning!

I am in the same boat. I love the 15 Pro!
I had a 14 Pro Deep Purple and I was adamant I did not want to upgrade. But I caved and preordered anyway. I am happy I did so; the ergonomics have drastically improved - the rounded edges make a big difference and the weight loss as well.
