Exactly the same with mine. I usually receive DHL shipments from Apple the next day, even when they ship in the evening, so I’m still hoping for tomorrow, but I guess it depends on timing of flights and capacity.

Same here. Got my order confirmation 4 minutes after pre-orders went active. Checking the Apple Store app, UPS, email, etc. every few minutes and still no change from “Preparing to ship”. SLC, UT. I was pretty patient till late yesterday, but I’ve passed frustration early this morning. Really need to see that “Shipped” notification.

Ordered too 4 minutes after pre-orders went up according to the email receipt (got it at 8:04am eastern time so that means I ordered it probably before the 4 minute mark). Mine to is still preparing to ship. Who knows how apple goes through orders though, you would think it would be as received but it doesn't look like it.

Yes, UPS for me. Maybe they're doing something different with the way they're setting up the labels this year. Interested to hear how yours plays out, I'd be surprised if it doesn't deliver tomorrow as well.
I checked the ups app and even tho I have may 21-27 and still preparing I got a second tracking number (the other my iPad) that’s slated for delivery tommorow . Next day from PA . I’m in MA
Had you been checking the UPS app earlier or was this the first time you checked it today? Whoever said "Patience is a virtue", clearly has never had to deal with Apple shipping/status updates.

Apple still shows preparing to ship but UPS will usually notify me first. I'm in NC. Ordered a couple of hours after it went on sale.

Well, Apple just sent me an email saying my Apple Care for the new Apple TV kicked in this morning. UPS still showing "Label created" and "Come back later for delivery details."
The saga continues!! Looks like will be coming via DHL although no tracking number yet but shows delivery date of 24th May 😡😡😡

hmmm...my tracking details have been updated and the delivery date has changed from 21st to 24th. The tracking details also shows my ATV is currently in Hinckley, UK - only about 50 miles away from my address - so I'm hoping this will change back to 21st later today.
If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, I think I'll pick one up from Argos and just return the pre-order whenever it does arrive. What's the point of pre-ordering if it doesn't arrive at least as early as when it's available on the High Street??

Just hope I get a tracking number soon so I feel a bit reassured.
Annoyingly the Apple page itself still says 27th May. really confusing if you had to take time off work to be home for the delivery. Thankfully I’m WFH
