Makes no sense, they can ship on 20th evening and it’s gonna arrive on 21st. It’s impossible for it to arrive on same day. Amazon usually ships pre-orders in advance so it arrives on release day anyway.

I don’t know. Best Buy said the same when I asked them. They said that release date is 21st. And that is also ship date. Arrive by 24th. I even asked Best Buy if I can pick one up Friday. And they said no. They said available for pick up for them would be Monday the earliest for them. I want an extra one. And since Best Buy is closer than an Apple store for me. I may wake up and see if thats true. Or if I can walk in and pick one up. When they open.
Maybe Apple is playing a harder line with the other retailers. When bought from Apple, they can make sure it's only delivered on release day. (that person that got theirs two days early....where did they buy from?)
It's just like Apple controls their pricing. If the retailers break their rules, they can find themselves getting dropped.
That way my question that no one else seemed to answer. Cause I noticed anyone else that isn’t Apple. Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon. Earliest available date. At least for me. Has been 24th. Keep in mind, Apple will ship to third parties (Amazon, etc.) and they will get them, on the 21s but…They have to go into their inventory system, matched to their pre-order lists they have, and then sent out from there…hence the 24th dates for those…
For the US, it‘s pretty much a forgone conclusion at this point that we will all see tomorrow the PFS move to shipped with overnight shipping for delivery on the 21st. Considering there’s been no indication that they are awaiting shipments from China to fulfill these orders, I’m sure they have centralized stockpiles on multiple continents ready to ship out already.

And I just realized the Apple TV shipped from "Singapore" to "Singapore"... All this while I thought it will be delivered from other parts of the country US or China, etc? Where their main factory is located.
My courier is by DHL

Mine was preparing to ship but now the credit card charge completely dropped off from the account, so who knows when will it ship now
Just received a shipped notification for mine. According to the mail it’s going to be delivered here in Germany tomorrow (21st) yay!
The order details in the apple store app still say delivery due on the 28th though… hmmm.

My remote arrives tomorrow! Just got the email. I’d hoped this would be the case. Ordered in the first 20 minutes and got May 21-27 dates.
UK - Apple still says prepare to ship but just had a notification from DPD saying it’ll be delivered tomorrow. Woo!

Only ordered my 4K TV on Monday (UK), but I've received a delivery date for tomorrow and had confirmation from DPD. Much sooner than I was expecting, Apple originally stated start of June. Good to see how this stacks up to my Shield.
