Sources quoted by Bloomberg in November 2017 predicted, that new iPads with Face ID would be released "a little more than a year after the last major iPad Pro upgrade" indicating that WWDC would likely provide the platform for launch.

June would make most sense because:

1. TSMC ramping 7nm during that period.
2. Introducing A11X prior to A12.

Just like last year, it wouldn't make sense to launch A10X after (or at the same time as) A11.

Pricing? Given the sales performance of the current iPad family, I wouldn't expect the price to increase.
