iPad When is the iPad 2 jailbreak coming out?

Not as pathetic as people who defend their actions no matter what, or suck up to them in hopes that it will gain some magic favor.
They could be dressed in diapers, burning effigies of Ronald Reagan for all I care. I'll just quietly wait for the download link.
According to Redmond Pie and Cultofmac.com, the jb could come within the next couple of weeks.

It will [supposedly] be similar to jailbreaks that we’ve recently seen, where you have to put your device into DFU mode for the jailbreak to begin, where blackra1n and spirit were 1-click jailbreaks. It’s also said that this jailbreak will be compatible iOS 4.3 and above.

There is nothing set in stone at all, however p0sixninja was asked in the @mygreatfest Q&A "ETA: Days, Weeks or Months" to which he replied "Weeks" the blogs are already saying he said "Within a couple of weeks" he did not.
When asked if we should update he said stay on 4.3. Which is common sense really, if the release comes for 4.3+ you can always go up, but never down..

although i'd like to see my iPad 2 jailbroken...it isnt necessary IMO, i bought it without the intention to jailbreak it, because i buy most of my apps, and usually just jailbreak iDevices simply for themes/extra apps
Really, why do people keep believing the crap that's posted on jailbreak blogs?!
This is the same thing as all those stupid blogs and groups about Facebook charging for their service, they do it to attract traffic and get ad revenue.
Even if they decided to charge for it, it's not very "hacker" and you'd have to wait an extra day for the cracked version anyway.
I know jailbreaking is 100% legal, and also in my country Norway has been so since the term was applied to computing (also before, when the term would be "rooting your own device you ****ing payed for". But I cant see that the hackers would be able to copyright jailbreak or rooting hacks. And if its not copyrighted, even if the hackers took money for the jailbreaks, copying them or distributing them without taking money or having permissions would not be piracy or illegal.
The hackers do not have any form of obligation to release jailbreaks or rooting techniques to me or any of us. Also I'm grateful for jailbreaks (love cydia, and tryb4ubuy appsync). And since I started working (about 16yo) I've used a ******** of cash$ on software (indy and corporative), but I ain't seeing my self buying my iPad 2 Jailbreak WHEN (not if) it's released, when I could torrent it.
And all the fuss about STAIRS and ELEVATORS, was just a big misunderstanding by some news blogs, that i0n1c thought was funny to pull a little longer when it got media coverage. He had no intention to making people think he had a jailbreak at all, and no intention for people thinking it was gonna be a paid jailbreak. IF he has one in the works, (which he might, but has stated on several occasions that he don't), he is not going to reveal it before close to a release. And a potential release might be delayed until the next iPhone gets released so he can have a record time jailbreak for it.
EDIT:
Heck, he has even stated on several occasions that he does not even have an iPad 2, and if he got one, the only use it would be for him would be the challenge of making the jailbreak.

comex is out, even though he had a working jailbreak for 4.3 (userland)
p0sixninja does not have one, but wants to be the first to release one.
i0n1c is officially not working on one (and does not even have a iPad2)
geohot has only mentioned it be fun to do, its unclear if he has started or even have the iPad2
musclenerd is not working on one, but he knows if anyone is in secret.
most other big names (like planetbeing and others) have kept their mouth quiet, and is probably not working on one.
At least, when the next iPhone comes, the upcoming jailbreak for it will probably work for the iPad 2 (*sigh* september I long for you

Great! To think he bought it for us! Its almost as I hope it takes long time to jailbreak it so he will have more out of it.... heck, I hope he gets a jailbreak within a week, then starts to find a new hidden secret jailbreak to wait for the next iPhone lol.

I think we will wait until iOS 5
As bad as I want to jailbreak my iPad, and have not updated the device since the day of launch hoping I'll be able to on 4.3, I think we'll all be waiting until iOS 5 till we see a JB

I have never seen so little activity on the JB community... I have been wondering if a few people already got some "donations" no to make a JB public... (I'm sure I will take some heat for that comment...).
But hey, there are a lot of us that got the iPad wanting to JB asap, as I'm sure a few people jumped and got it once they saw a video that was releases the next day after the iPad2 was released, making us believe that it was almost here...

I dont think there will be JB available in near future , same as unlocking the iphone baseband 2.10.4 and higher... now its all about $$$
So, if you are planning to buy ipad2 assuming that you will have JB in couple months , then dont spend your money.
Its not gonna be AVailable.....i m sorry to say..NEVER..

This guy who made the Cydia store has already made more than half a million dollars with it, I read. Buy the hackers some iPad 2's, millions of jailbreaks are done in the months after and the guy makes another bucketload of cash. Guess they're too greedy or retarded to think of doing that.
