iPad When is the iPad 2 jailbreak coming out?

No. If it was that easy, backing them up wouldn't be necessary. You could just download them off the internet as you please.
 
Comex has been tweeting more today, but apparently his tweets have nothing to do with the jailbreak..darn it..I thought once he posted about the bootstrap thing within 24 hours it would be released, guess not :(
 
I am pretty sure he is still waiting for a bootstrap to tie all the pieces together.
 
Well then a "Waiting for bootstrap, then I'll release it" twitter update would be freaking nice...is that too much to ask?
 
Well that and he has to finish the new jailbreakme 3.0 layout which will still be iOS themed but it will not be a lock screen. That is probably at about 95% done.
 
Yes I have, and I can promise you that. I am not a troll, they aren't even located on jailbreakme.com yet, they are on another site owned by comex. Like I said on page 31 I could post everything I know with a screen shot of the new website from my ipad and what models it will support, but this is comex's big accomplishment and I like everyone else would like to see it come out. It is real comex isn't lying to us and it is in it's final steps before release.

If people can't wait for it to come out then they should not even be jail breaking.....every body wants it but it won't come till it is reedy!!!!!!!!!!
 
Saiz since you have personal knowledge of all this is Comex still waiting for Saurik to send him the bootstrap or whatever that thing is that he needs? I thought that usually takes 24 hours to send(Since that is how long it took him the last time) after he does send it to him then will the jailbreak be released? So is that basically all he is waiting for?
 
I am just like all of you, I was unhappy with the news on the jailbreak and just happened to stumble upon everything.

From what I see all the files are individual still, so not packed into a .bin like star was. So from that I am assuming it still needs a bootstrap.

Also, you said that the theme for the website is not ready (about 95%) and that the theme will not be a lockscreen anymore. How the hell would you know that from just looking at a website full of jailbreak files?
 
There is a php file there with the new website in the folder with all the files.
 
Ok then, as proof can you take a screenshot of the code for the layout page? This won't give out any code or anything specific to the jailbreak. It's just a layout for the new page.

Why would comex have a website with all the jailbreak files just unprotected like that tho? I would assume he would password protect the directory or folders in there....
 
Okay guys this has already gone too far. Obviously, this person has not seen the "files" that he keeps talking about. And if he did, why the hell would he come on here and talk about it? People close to the jailbreak do not talk about it. That's a rule. Just leave him alone and stop giving this person the attention that he so /desperately/ desires.
 
I will try when I get off work before I head off to transformers. But as of now I can confirm 100% that it has unionfs and comex is about to start final testing shortly.

Verizon iPhone 4 not currently supported. 4.2.1 is probably broken. Some firmware versions on iPad 2 are broken/mising probably because I have bad cache files. If it crashes, use the iPhone Configuration Utility or Xcode or this Mac binary and PM me the panic log. If it doesn't work for any reason, PM me with the device and version.

For one, that would not be in a header file, that would be in a readme that is sent to testers. Secondly, you say its unionf's?

Post some real screenshots/proof or gtfo. Seriously, how dumb do you think people are?
 
The text I quoted was from a header.html file so it displays at the top of directory listing.
