Shockingly, no. I'm the one who points out the Signal issue. They are impressed with the design.

I don't think I've gotten a comment in a month or more. And since AT&T has worked to improve coverage in my area, I don't bother with a case/bumper anymore. It's nice finally being able to use the phone as intended.

Most people are think it is the coolest phone they've ever seen, and are amazed by the display.

I've not been asked about any problems with it.

I've only met one person who has an android phone and he doesn't know how to use much on it except the very basics. He was put out at how much more he could accomplish on my iPhone just playing with it for a few minutes than he can do on his droid even though he's had it for a few weeks.

They always ask why I don't have a case. Then they tell me it sucks because the media tells them my phone doesn't work.

Everyone goes "does it still have reception issues like they say in the news?" even my mom who doesn't care for technology asked that.

When my coworkers saw my iPhone 4, 3/5 of them bought one within the next month. Nobody cares about the signal crap anymore. Just enjoy your phone, because it's the best one out there

The poll answers (pasted below) are one sided - except for "other." I'm assuming it's because the OP only believes or has experienced nothing but negativity. Why else only list these as possible answers instead of other option which are more positive?

"Is that an iPhone?"

People usually ask me "Is that the new iPhone 4?" and I go "yep :)" then they ask about signal problems and then I start explaining.

While waiting for a table in front of a restaurant in Maine, a man literally bolted across the street and said "Is that the iPhone 4? Are the signal problems real?" I simply said you'll never notice them unless you try to. It was pretty funny, though. I laughed at the fact that he was so thrilled to see one in person.

i get many responses.

they say nice case either because of signal problems or the fact that i got the light blue one. when they say ha it dosent work without the case i go look and i call them, because when i make calls i dont rape my phone to the point of death. sometimes they want to play with it, and other times i have to explain why the signal thing happens and all smart phones do it and when i show them either they are too stupid to understand and i look like an idiot or they accept and shut up.

The ones who know about the tech world: Don't you have signal problems
The ones who occasionally read the news: WOW! is that the new iphone!?
The ones who don't read the news at all: that phone is nice

"OMG, how'd you get it to look like that?" This is typically because it's skinned with a pink and white Decal Girl skin and in a pink Apple bumper, but lately it's been happening due to the custom lockscreen and theming. I've got about six people from last week who want me to help them JB and theme their phones.

Haven't had anyone ask about reception in weeks. If they ask about anything, it's the retina screen or the camera improvements.

No haters, no jealous looks or comments, nothing. But I'm in a tech area, there are plenty of them around. I got a lot more of that with the first iPhone because it was such a game changer.

When I have my phone out and people notice that it's an iPhone 4 and not just a regular iPhone... I get asked if I'm happy with it.

I get that the media coverage about the antenna was bad but has it really made it around to EVERYONE? I'm pretty sure it has because all the anti Apple people are telling everyone they know how they shouldn't get the i4.

I have not had a problem with mine.

Most people tell me, they like it, and ask me how much I paid for it, and whether I like it or not.....

At my school, most people just go "oooo can I see it" or "that's a cool phone". Recently I"ve seen more and more people with an iPhone 3-4.

There was this incident where this chick came up and was like "That's the iphone 4. Is it true that it has all those problems?" I responded "Would I still have the phone if it did?"

Some people take the news WAY too seriously.

That's pretty much how people react in my case as well.
