Week 34 32GB

Reception Issue: No, can drop 1 or 2 bars with full on death grip but not much more.

Yellow Screen: The entire screen feels far too yellow compared to the 3G, not sure if it is because of the glue or not. Hope it gets better.

Proximity Sensor: Haven't had issues with it in one day of usage.

how long do you guys think it will take for ip4's with 4.1 already installed to show up in retail stores? obviously, it depends on current stock of phones with 4.02 being sold first. i wonder if phones in the assembly line are already being loaded with 4.1.

i'm curious to find out when ip4's already installed with 4.1 are showing up in stores or are shipping. please post here if you're one of these people.

I just purchased my iPhone 4 yesterday -- iOS 4.1 was already installed on it. 32gb model and per serial # it is a week 37 build.

I forgot to mention....

No problem with proximity sensor.

If I hold without case (lefty) my hand covers antenna gap and signal drops from 3 bars to 1 bar. However, I always use a case to protect phone so I have no reception issue when using case.

No yellowing screen.

I upgraded from original iPhone. On the way to the Apple store yesterday I tested the cellular download on Edge vs the new phone on 3G on the way home. Original iPhone ranged between 25kbs - 110kbs on SpeedTest app. New iPhone ranged from about 500kbs - 2100kbs. I'm very pleased with the speed improvements going from the Edge network to 3G.

Week - 34
16GB - iOS 4.0.2
Purchased 8/30

Yellow screen: NO
Bad reception: NO
Proximity Sensor issue: NO

Photos under fluorescent light have a slight yellowish cast.
Great WiFi connectivity.

Updated to 4.1. No issues so far.

My first iPhone. Amazed.

No reception issues so far and no yellow screen.

so close, but no doubt you already know that.

week 31 (32-gig ios 4.0.1)

no yellow issues
no antennae issues
proximity sensor works as it should

nice of apple to give me a free bumper though. I would never have paid what they were asking for it.

Whereabouts did you buy yours? I'm Thinking about going to the 3rd street promenade location in Santa Monica. It's prob the busiest store in LA so I'm assuming that their inventory gets turned around pretty quickly thus bettering my chances of getting one with 4.1 already installed. I know it's not really a big deal but I'd like to get one that's freshest off the assembly line.
