They included a 18W usb-c charger with the iPhone 11 Pro + Max.

Do you actually believe what you just wrote? carbon neutral? with a usb c cable that requires people to buy a new power brick?

Yes, because I don’t have to buy a new power brick lol The assumption that every single person will buy a separate brick is stupid, I’m not saying everyone has one, but I would say a good portion do have several chargers/bricks. I feel like you conveniently left out the cost of these phones staying relatively the same. 5G is very very expensive to add, look at Samsung phones, they’re upwards of 1600$ now.....Apple could have easily past that cost on to us. I have been using AirPods for several years now so the earbuds are useless to me. I would rather see the cost of the device stay the same or close to the same vs getting useless accessories I already have. I am certain I am not alone I’m this. Remember when Apple included cloths and docks? I’m sure people were pissed than, y’all will get over it. I am looking forward to preordering my 12 Pro tomorrow. Apple nailed this years iPhones and I am glad they have a strong commitment to helping the environment.

Going to wait for the next model with mask friendly Touch ID, no notch and reinclude power brick. Is Apple going to skip 13 because of unlucky number and call next year's iPhone 14?

For 10+ years I did 3:00AM pre-orders on the east coast. Last year, I moved to the west coast and they changed the pre-order time. Now I’m stuck with 5:00AM 🤦‍♂️
No rest for the wicked!
My husband and I are night owls or we used to be and 3:00 am east coast preorder times were fine because at least we were home and at 3:00 am didn’t have to be doing anything else anywhere else.

When they switched last year it was rough because when you have kids to get to school and a job to go to everything happens at 8:00 am and it’s hard to set aside time to try to do something like this.

This year, everyone’s at home but that doesn’t mean we are free at one of the busiest times of the day.

OK, so how many iPHone 11 Pro and Max owners are going to get a 12? A few, perhaps. The rest of us are looking at not using the cable they supplied, or buying a charger. That's a separate purchase, and a separate retail box. That to me seems like actually more packaging and less carbon neutral. But Apple sure has a way to spin things they way they want.

Hopefuly this mask garbage is done with in a year or two and that no longer matters.

No notch... You might be waiting 5+ years, lol.

Maybe the power brick Will come back when the 3.5mm jack comes back.

I’ll be up at 5am, hopefully their site don’t crash.

Feel free to sleep in, no one is preordering the iPhone 12. The phone is trash. You’ll still get one on launch day even after a couple hours late to the preorder time

I'm gonna order the new iPhone and send the message to Apple that I don't care if they didn't include a charger or headphones because I have about 10 pairs in a box from the previous 10 iPhone's I've owned.

Yes, thank you! I throw them out anyway, the after-market ones are better/faster (and with gantech, smaller). For people complaining about price....either keep your phone forever like I do (upgrading from a first gen SE which works flawlessly) and stop buying a new phone every year...or buy a good used phone since it'll still work great (I recommend used 7s to friends and family all the time)

Can anyone offer a pro-tip on apple.com website vs Apple Store app vs something else for best possibility of getting my order in?

I'm buying with my Apple card on payments. No carrier chains.

The last couple years if doing the pre-order, I'd say the best experience would be in the App Store app, although I have also had good luck with the AT&T Account app.

and you buy it once and then next year you will have the brick for your new iPhone instead of wasting the one in the box ! .... the cycle of wasted accessories has to be broken somewhere, it just happens to be this year.

Does anyone know what the processes for swapping or changing a newly “purchased” phone on the iPhone early upgrade program? This will be my third phone in the program, I’ve pre-ordered the 12 pro, but I’m seriously intrigued by the mini. If I order the 12 pro, tomorrow morning, surely it cannot be changed before it actually arrives, but what’s the process of returning it and Getting the 12 mini,? Keep in mind again, this is via AIUP.

I wish there was a good video showing the colors in real light..Good Morning America had a 5 minute spot, but did not really show the phones..they just had a talking head speak about the features. I'd like to SEE the gold iphonePro...but will probably go with the safer Pacific Blue. I'm just hoping I can get my order in tomorrow morning.

Indeed, the lack of 120hz is downright offensive to tech enthusiasts, but it's the iPhone...
It should be included and will likely be there next year.
I have both an iPad pro and iphone 11 max and when I show it to my wife/kids/friends they can't see a different - their basic usage is tapping an icon and the app launches - having 120hz its not going to make facebook/twitter, etc. load any faster.

I am actually more bother by the PWM Flickering which it is less noticeable in the iPhone 11 line.

I am actually looking for that sample dolby vision video Apple showed - I would like to play it on my Vizio 70" Dolby vision TV to get an idea of what kind of quality we should be expecting

I'm surprised everyone is just fine with the fact that the intro pricing is now $129 more than it was with the iPhone 11. And before anyone says it, NO, the mini does not count.
how do you buy your phone? that's like $2-3 dollars a month extra? is that good financial thing, I don't know but my dad who is a manager at a huge AT&T store tells me that of the 1000's of phones they sell every month almost all are on installment plans.

I suggest no one order a new iPhone to send the message to Apple that leaving out the charger and headphones is not OK.

They give you a new USB-C cable but their phones have never had a USB-C charger before now so what good is that cable if they've never given you a charger for that format? Really dumb. Their headphones don't last forever. But at least you got them when you bought a new phone. Now you're stuck paying more.

Say no until Apple cries UNCLE! Besides there will be some sweet deals come the holidays if you wait. There always is.
Uh, first of all, the iPhone 11 Pro came with a usb-c charger and second of all, if you don’t already have a charger then you must have never purchased an iPhone before, or you just like to complain. I doubt Apple will lose a single sale because they omit the headphones and charger.
